Tried BA's technique of setting up an incline bench in front of the mirror for a few of my squat sets. I like not being able to tell how deep I'm going except by feel. Def made me squat lower than I was for the 1st set or 2.

Strong bro day at the gym today. I was the only dude doing legs (and shoulders) while the curl warriors took over the db's

Notes: Hex plates still ****ing suck, and glute still feels like ***.

Heavy Legs day went well for the first time in a while. 315 was a hassle before, right after I reset my form, so I knocked my power day (I run phat) working sets to 275. I'm getting deep, but now I'm able to push through my heels and not shift my weight to forward on my feet. My angus is my sore now too. Much better glute activation.

Heavy legs
Squat- 275x5x3
Leg press- 770x5-4x3
Calf press- 225x8x3
Seated ham curl- 205x4x5

If by full you mean less than a 90* angle between the calf and ham, yes. The leg press sled is, like most, at a 45* angle, so, iirc the load is only something like 70% of the weight put on. It's less impressive than It sounds, and I still am only getting so few reps out of it.

LF shoulder press: 115x19
HS shrugs: 425* 8, 8, 20
Seated ham curls: 220x12
Prone ham curls: 210x12, 195x16
Hack squats: 385* 5, 5, 6
LF leg press: 290x20

Was disappointed with the DB press, the last time I did 75s I got 12 reps.

The cable leg press was interesting, it felt like there was a lot more tension at lockout than there was in the hole. It also seemed to place much more emphasis on my hamstrings than the conventional leg press, despite retaining a low and close stance.
