I agree with the bacon and onions part but I don't eat beans.... I don't eat anything similar to beans at all. No corn, beans, peas, or anything like that. The only thing I eat is refried beans and hominy(sp>) which is similar to corn.

What I do is take them and mash them up when they come out with a little bit of salt, pepper, some corn bread crumpled in and a bit of tabasco.

It actually doesn't taste much like beans after that. I recommend a try.

You can get bacon cheap, you just have to know where to go. It's only for cooking, not for eating, so the cheapest **** you can find will do.

We have a local meat market that will sell the edge, rough, ehh cuts of bacon for next to nothing. That's what we use in our beans.

Made a hospital visit about my back pain. Xrays done and nothing is wrong but a "really pissed off muscle." Didn't even get anything to help it. Doctor told me to take ibuprofen and see a chiropractor. I've been taking ibuprofen and massaging this bastard for over 3 goddamn weeks and it just keeps getting worse. Not to mention my back is now curved as ****. You'd think I have scoliosis.

I made some pulled pork last night. Cooked a 6.5 pound pork shoulder in a crock pot on high for 7 hours. I should have cooked it for 8-9 because it didn't pull apart as easily as I had hoped, but it was pretty tasty.
