first weekend out with my GEO3 in about 50degrees i put about 5 cases through it. i like it, im not in love yet im coming for a LUXE and well that gun was my workhorse/baby. personally i do not like the shaft barrel and will be getting a freak as i have a whole freak kit. over all though the gun feels good in the hands its light and works very well. i hope i fall in love with it but its got a big place in my heart to fill.
also to add i had the gun at stock dwell with the soft tip bolt in and the noid turned all the way down. no stick issues what so ever.

the stock dwell is on 26 something. I think i recall Jack Wood saying to not mess with the dwell until the geo is broken in, other you'd get bolt stick and FSDO

The Geo3 we got in the shop was not that smooth and had a lot of kick/barrel rise even with the solenoid all the way down. I adjusted the dwell from 26.5 to 24 and lubed with my monkey poo and it shot buttery smooth with no fsdo. However some might get different results.

quick update well after 2 weeks of use and 18,855 shots the gun is starting to shoot smooth, but i have some little things that bugged me, for one after playing a few games the ASA became very wobbly and mind you i usually play in the back/mid. that was fixed after a point just had to tighten the screws back down. problem #2 not a big deal but on a new gun bugs me the plastic screen on the grip frame is loose and clicks back and forth. problem #3 the grips are starting to wear rather quickly, something i understand is suppose to happen but after 2 weeks c'mon now.

I am not sure grip wear after almost 20,000 shots is bad. That's a lot of use consistently. They would have to be to hard to not wear a little. I would rather have them a little soft. I just wish I could play that much paintball in two weeks. Must be sweet.

i like soft grips but i dont want them to fall apart in 6 months time, my LUXE grips finally gave out after 3 years they have life but i just replaced them to make the gun look better lol. also gotta grind for world cup!

First time out with my Geo 3, and I believe it to be a significant step forward from the Geo 2/2.1. I have a luxe 1.5, but I did not do a side by side comparison yet.

How does the geo3 compare to the DM12 when you owned/played with one?

I've played with nothing else the last two UWL's and this is hands down my favorite gun I've owned. Smooth, efficient, very ergonomic, and consistent as I could ever hope for especially out of the box.
I also come from a long line of owning a lot of different markers. Maybe it's just the ergonomics, but I like shooting it more than the DM's.

I finally got a chance to play with mine at the Mobsters game up at Ft. Knox Paintball in Indiana. Every day started in the upper 30's and was in the mid 40's by the afternoon and I was very concerned about bolt stick.
Not once did it fail to cycle properly - and I had the SFR all the way down at 3 o'clock. It's a phükin’ amazing gun.

Yes I can echo these comments, I was shooting around 8c (mid 40s) in very damp conditions. Never missed a beat and had the sfr turned all the way down with factory dwell.
