Yeah I have an ego 11, I'll put that reg on it and see if that fixes the problem

If the other reg works, then check the reg seat in the original Geo Reg

Okay, so I tried my ego 11 reg on my geo 3, when I turn the air on it starts leaking from the hole underneath the SFT adjuster, but it doesn't leak with the geo3 reg on it

Lower the ego reg pressure, it might be up too high for the geo.

The Ego reg is higher pressure. DO NOT use that on the Geo. You can damage the solenoid. Please call Gerry Bates at the RI PE office. He'll take care of you.

Damn, very sorry if i gave the op bad advice, when going from gun to gun with a reg I typically either back the reg all the way out or use a reg tester to reset the hpr to the new marker pressure. Very sorry I did not include that.

Geo 2/3 uses a low pressure SL3. Ego 11 uses a medium pressure SL3. Only difference is the reg piston spring.

I've had this problem before on my geo+ and I fixed it by just changing my ball check in my solenoid. At first the PE gun tech and I thought it was the pilot valve assembly, but when we took a closer look it was the ball check (red ball) it self shrunked and causing that leak! It was very odd. Not sure if geo3 has a ball check but just thought I'd give an input

I had this problem with my 2.1 a while back and it turned out that the spring in the back of the propshaft had broken in half. A lot of people don't take the propshaft apart but I would check it out.

Okay, so they replaced the solenoid valve and solenoid manifold with brand new ones. They replaced all bolt orings with new ones (after I already did that). They sent the gun back and it works for a minute, I take the bolt out to look at it, put the bolt back in and the problem came back. I tried relubing it again and still doesn't fire, the solenoid only puffs air. I'm taking a couple hour cruise on my bike tomorrow to the shop and they're going to try another bolt, does anyone know what else it could be????

Quite possible you have an issue with both of your tanks. I can't see a PE Tech sending your marker back to you TWICE if they didnt think the issue was corrected. Have you tried anyone else's tank? When you go down there, I would take your tanks with you, and once he says its fixed put your tanks on to test it.

Both of my tanks work just fine with my ego11. I have a ninja and a geurilla, and I was planning on taking them

Is your POPS possibly pushing the reg pin in too far?
Also, double check to make sure the silver portion of your solenoid is tightly connected to the solenoid housing.

Honestly, with my experience with warranties in the past if you buy something brand new and its not functioning its best to leave it as is and get it to a shop/send it in as soon as possible. I know PE stands behind their customers and does very well with CS that's why so many people stand behind them. I would be hesitant to start doing tear downs/re-builds on a brand new gun, you have the potential to damage something and have it void the warranty completely. If it was out of warranty I'd say start tinkering but that's just my 2 cents...

okay, so i took it in today with my tanks....they finally got their parts order in at the PE service center that i go to and since they already put in a new solenoid assembly they put in a new bolt, BINGO! the bolt it came with was mis-machined and the tolerances were all messed up, they put in a complete new bolt assembly and it works beautifully....they said they've never seen that before, but with the bolt it had wwwaayyyy to much drag sliding back and forth so something was messed up with the tolerances...i've gotta give HUGE props to Steven Santuci at Mountain View Paintball in Rancho Cucamonga, CA for working with me to get this gun up and running
