Okay, just got details from Virtue. They will be giving out more info next week on stuff, but I was told that they will have a trade in program if you already bought the original Spire speedfeed. whew!

This speed feed is a significant improvement over the original launch speedfeed. Paint retention is much better and it reloads quick and easy.

So they walked away from the Crown 2 fin design and went back to the Exalt fin design and increased the price by $10. I AM SOLD!!!! TAKE MY MONEY!

Glad to see someone finally catch up to the ORIGINAL speed feed. I've got a metal spring loaded feed at home made for the halo that still puts all others to shame. If it weren't so bulky I'd make a fortune!! Virtue's looks like the best mass produced one for sure.

Because the current spire crown design is a downgrade from nearly every other speedfeed on the market. Customers bought the first speedfeed available for the Spire from Virtue expecting a product as good as, if not better than anything they have put out thus far and it did not live up to that at all.

It would be bad business to leave your first wave customers who are willing to take the new product dive by the wayside. Glad that Virtue is doing this trade in program though

Its going to cost almost that much for shipping to ship the old nonfunctioning speedfeed back to them. We should get a refund for their original speedfeed that was obviously short of what we were all looking for. Virtue? Thoughts? Shipping credit? Original speedfeed mistake refund?

Springs plus plastic fingers? Sounds risky. Rubber speedfeeds have held up pretty well for me.
