Ego11 vs V2 Vic

Well I have a Ego11 and I'm considering on trying to trade for a V2 Victory now. I love the way the Ego11 shoots and feels, but me always wanting something different I will be looking for trades soon. I like the way the V2 looks, but I haven't shot a vic since the V1. I am assuming they shoot almost the same. So I am looking for opinions on people that have used both.

Thanks

well the v2 vic is the same as the v1 same internals everything is the same besides milling if you liked how the v1 shot(which i love!) then you will love the v2 as well.

The vic looks great but imo wont be as reliable. I just bought mine from ansgear a couple months ago and its been to blast twice in 2 weeks. getting rid of it for an ego 11 or geo. But it shot great for the case it worked for. I was probably just unlucky but I say keep the ego.

I own both. The Ego is a more reliable gun. Victories are a bit finicky when it comes to setup. The vic shoots and handles nicely but i keep going back to my Ego 11. The Ego will be a little lighter & being able to fine tune the shot via the solenoid adjusters is a nice feature.

I shot the Victory for a while & liked it, then shot the ego for a while, liked it too. Then went back to the Victory & finally settled on the Ego as my favorite of the two

I'd take the V2 vic over the ego. I disagree that the vic is somehow unreliable. Sure the ego can be played with for an entire season without really doing more than wiping it down. While with a victory, every 10 or so cases you pull the drivetrain out, clean and re-lube. Big deal. The vic shoots nicer than the ego, is made in America, and looks so much more boss. Both companies have great CS though.

People who complain about "reliability" are the same guys who lube their marker once a month and throw it in a dirty gear back and expect that dirt and dust to not find its way onto the o-rings covered in a sticky lube.

Not really IMO. I am sure some guys are like this, but a lot do take care of their gear. The reality is some guns/brands are just higher maintenance and/or more prone to issues. You are comparing a gun that all but requires a pressure tester to one that doesn't need one.

QFT, my luxe required a good bit of maintenance but it was simple and that gun never let me down. My vapor/NT/GEN 1 mini on the other hand were finicky as well as my V1 non SC victory. Their are some guns that need some more maintenance but their are some that are plain finicky. Id say the victory is reliable but im not a fan of the way it balances and feels compared to the ego11. Their both great guns and you cant really go wrong but if i had to pick id get a ego 11 and then pickup a DART kit and you will have a reliable, good feelings, smooth shooter IMO
