Trilogy Autococker not firing and sounds like cap gun.

Played last week, perfectly fine. This week, wasn't firing and when it did it sounded like a really loud cap-gun. Seemed to be cycling fine. Although most of the times it wouldn't fire. Any insight?

OK, your HPR pressure too high, the valve is not opening all the way because the pressure is up.

How to lower this HPR? Sorry I'm sort of a noob when it comes down to the wire.

If the HPR has never been adjusted you may still be good, BUT, it could have blown the reg and the pressure is spiking. I'm not sure how to adjust as I tend to stay away from Trilogy's sorry.

I went over to custom cockers and got the help I was looking for. Remove bottom cap of regulator, adjust silver screw. Screwing in lowers pressure, backing out raises it. Now I'm really hoping I didn't blow the reg, Cause it would be hard to test or remove as it is on there EXTREMELY tight. Used heat, a vice, grip wrenches. NOTHING got it off.

So, my reg is blown. Got the reg off, built a reg tester and it blows full pressure 450+. Going to put a new reg on tomorrow and see what happens.

With the price of a trilly I couldn't see buying a new reg, but def test with another to see if that's the problem, and take it all the way apart to see if there's a jacked up oring in there to fix it

It's definitely blown. This gun and I go back. Leaving it broken would be hurtful lol. I have a few regs laying around. Will get to it after work. As far as repairing the reg, I don't know where one would find OEM WGP rebuild parts.

It's very likely just an o-ring.

Where would this o-ring be? I only see two and they are good. Replaced em just in case.

There should be a reg seat o-ring and piston o-ring. May look good but still can be bad. Check my "sale" thread, O-rings there.

Thanks for the link. Haven't looked into repairing the reg just yet, but I will get to it. I did however put a different reg on, adjusted it, and it was shooting fine at the field, +/- 4-6 fps. The guy with the chrono left early so I didn't get to tinker anymore after playing.
