If you read the link, you'd of seen Fox simply showed some publications, including some liberal ones, who swapped sides. So Matt and Silent = owned. Way to clown yourselves.

He might. The election rides on Ohio IMO, I already said that and predicted Obama wins the electoral, Romney wins the popular vote.

BTW - the next time you say "**** you, you can't even read" to swerve, be sure to include SilentAssassin and Matt on that list of people who can't read. Thanks man

I don't know where to put this, but maybe some of you may find this interesting in light of all the religious, race and gender issues going around...

My state will probably elect the first Asian-American woman to the senate today, as well as the first Buddhist. And we will be electing the first Hindu to congress ever, also a woman, who is part-Samoan, which would also make her the first Samoan state congressperson.

Oh yeah Tulsi Gabbard is a Iraq combat veteran too, another first (female combat veteran) however apparently there could be several elected today. I'm not sure if she is a natural born citizen, but she certainly has the resume to run for president someday. And it would drive the teabaggers absolutely bonkers.

None of that is important to me, except the veteran part. Even then, it is a citizen that acted when called upon.

I think its cool only because once a minority (however you judge that) enters office or even hints at doing so, opportunity for minorities campaigning for office grow.

Notice how once Obama was the nominee, McCain chose a woman as his running mate. Later Michael Steele was the head of the RNC and Herman Cain was a candidate. Before it was almost exclusively a white guys game.

Of course I don't really care what color, gender, orientation etc. the candidate is. But if everyone has a more equal shot, the more chances people with talent and qualification get regardless of what they are.

Just a thought

Unfortunately a gay man or woman will never never never be president. Too many religious people will auto vote no

Demographics say you are wrong. In about one generation homosexuality will be a political non-issue.

To be fair, there have been plenty of people who swapped sides on both sides of the spectrum. To only bring up a few and say, "Oh, Obama is losing support!" is extremely biased and exactly what I expect a major news network to do. I mean, I expect them to distort facts.

I know Romney is a poor enough candidate to make many people swap sides. And this is coming from someone who voted for Obama today but would have voted Cain or Guliani over Obama or Romney anyday.

Calibration error, like vegas keno machines. lol
Pretty damn bad for voting machines however, another reason why electronic machines are questionable.

Yep, all of them. Democrats have the power and experience here.
Hirono is currently a rep so obviously she has the experience, and Gabbard has both political and military experience. Of the two Gabbard is greener but she will probably make the bigger waves in the long run. Our other rep candidate is likely to be an Asian American woman as well (Hanabusa, incumbent, former state senate pres). Though if she should happen to lose it would be an Asian American combat veteran and former interim rep (Djou, unfortunately kind of a tea-head). So we're pretty covered as far as qualifications. Gonna be a HUGE political vacuum when Inouye finally hangs it up for whatever reason, though (raise your hand if you knew the senior senator from Hawaii is 3rd in the presidential succession line).

Oh and if anyone didn't know, Asians are not a minority here.
