Judging by the comments under the article here,
http://news.yahoo.com/white-house-to...010758099.html

You and your libtard pals are in the very small minority. Face it, the rest of the country doesn't buy your BS excuses. Only criminals make excuses for other criminals.

These people are undoubtedly more intelligent than you (for they are in that position and you're nowhere close), so why are you calling all liberals retarded?

Careful, just because someone is elected to office doesn't make them intelligent.

I don't think liberals are retarded. They are just blind like most conservatives. Mostly from the brainwashing they get from news media. The best word to describe it is sheep. Much less offensive.

Treghc did you forget Bush held office and was deemed pretty ****ing stupid by most of America?

What makes Obama a 'liberal' anyway and what IS a liberal?

Funny what gets brought up in this forum. And what doesn't...

The LIBOR scandal wasn't even discussed past a page or two. Todd Akin's rape comments were barely mentioned. Richard mourdocks comments about pregnancies from rape being gods will hasn't even been brought up, nor has Palin's recent "shuck and jive" comments about Obama. And of course killing Osama was really no big deal, but failing to label the benghazi (sp) attacks was a **** up worthy of termination.

Most of America didn't have half the education that guy did. Stupid =/= selfish. The guy graduated from Yale and went on to Harvard right after. The vast majority of Americans cannot claim the same level of education. Was he fit to run this country? He was until 9/11. Does not mean the man was stupid.

I'm not evading your point. Intelligence is a rather relative thing and it's asinine to think that any bum can get elected to run office over a large population of people. Palin's relative knowledge to lead an entire country was misplaced. Does not mean she is/was stupid or unintelligent.

If you can do it, why aren't you? Don't feel like leaving your mark? Don't want to bother helping your fellow peers?

It has a strong foundation in the correlation to intelligence in the selected program the one being educated chooses to learn about.

I'm going to assume a graduate from Yale and Harvard is going to have a better grasp on things than someone with nothing more than a GED. True, it's not always the case, but it almost always is. You can't get through Yale or Harvard by being stupid. That's pretty easy to understand.

Just because you received a good education doesn't mean it will make you street smart or intelligent necessarily IMO.

This statement does not negate the strong correlation between higher education and intelligence, especially within a specific degree. Again, intelligence is relative.

The vast majority of Nobel prize winners don't come from top tier institutions (Harvard, Yale, etc). Most studies show that up until the 120 range there is a clear correlation between IQ and performance, but once you crack 120 (IQ) there is little correlation. (I'm not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with you; just expanding.)
