but this is why I DO play.
If I didn't have paintball on the weekends, I would go mad I think.
It's all about what you make of it, I love playing with a team, I have a good (big kid) job so the financial side isn't huge for me, and the local tournaments are cheap, 3 man costs us about 230 each including cases - 230 once every two months to play against people who really challenge you is well worth it.
A lot of people on this thread have talked about stress/frustration/life getting in the way. Well here's something I know - if you want to make time for something that you love, you will make it. And people getting frustrated about not being good because they bought all the best gear and can't beat people, so what? I personally HATE people like that and I love for them not to return to where I play.
