new pmr breaks paint in barrel wtf.

ight hows it going i have a question here and my freinds cant seem to answer it other than i double trigger shoot too fast for my current bps. i have a 2011 proto reflex rail /w halo too hopper. everytime i shoot using two fingers atleast 1 ball every 10 explodes in the barrel and i ahve to squegie it out over and over. im thinking about buying a d7 bolt but i just bought a freak barrel kit on ansgear.com but i dont know why its doing it. its first day in action was today at operation paintball in graham washington. i think i cleaned my barrel atleast 10 times today just from paint breaking in the barrel.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

and does anyone know how to change the factory setting bps.

Make sure the insert you have in the barrel isn't too small for the paint.

Also, if your eyes are on, it doesn't matter how fast you shoot, you shouldn't chop any paint.

But here's the manual if you want to change the BPS anyway.

i mean i have the instruction manual in my bag but it doesnt tell you exactly what to do to change the bps. only to change the config and click to blue light and bam your in ROF settings and then what do you do?

It is probably your paint, what are you shooting? Is it cold there? Make sure the eyes are on and the eye pipe is in good condition. You shouldn't be out shooting the loader since it has eyes. Do a quick test, get the gun ready to go, air it up ect, but before you put paint in try dryfiring it. If you pull the trigger with the gun on but no paint it shouldn't fire. If it does the eyes aren't working or your eyes are off.

I don't see how the manual is unclear, move the dip switch back so it is in firing mode again.

it's simple if it's breaking in the barrel it means your insert is too small for the paint, seeing it's not breaking in the gun, it's not the gun issue.

what insert size are you using in your freak, try a 692 size,

no grss429 i dont have the freak kit yet. its on its way im still using the stock pmr barrel.

and the eyes are on and working.
i was shooting evil paint. 1 out of 5 paint balls would break mid shooting and i go threw hopper and 2-4 pods as a back player in speedball.

Hmmm, this is a tough one. Is it cold out? Maybe the evil is just way too brittle.. how does it shoot with other paint?

still, your barrel bore is too small switch to a different barrel, and u'll be fine or just switch to a lower/mid grade paint for now till u get a freak

stock proto barrel .690 bore though right?

.690 bore is correct. and it was like 65-70 when i played. there was marbs tehre too. imma probably try marbs out the next time i go cuz the evil and premium were breaking.
