SEPS Event 6 Feedback - NPI

Guess we can get this ball rolling. Be constructive. It's been a great year for SEPS. Looking forward to next season.

Refs were usually hesitant and never called penalties... Also congrats to 65 South.

Complete Lack of experience. I know we cant get the best just for seps due to money but please if you plan on reffing know the rules, be aggressive with calls, and most importantly professional. The worst thing you can do as a ref is communicate with your fellow team or home field team while on the field, just worry bout your job. Otherwise it seams a lil sketchy while you ref that team. Obviously were gonna have bad calls at times, but there were times where i had to tell the ref what to do in a situation then they would look the rules up and confirm. Also be even with penalties. If your gonna pull a penalty for something, make sure you pull a penalty every time it occurs. Like i said obviously were not gonna get the best refs for seps, but i wish we could atleast have very good head refs to keep people in check.. Super Dan is a good example. Ask him about paintball, and he says he loves it and plays his heart out. Ask him about reffing, and he DOES his job, and works his *** off.

I spoke with the field owner directly about an event after the tournament as to not bring up anything trying to say oh we woulda made it. I was basically told that I wasn't making any sense, and that his ref was flawless. When the ref stated in the same conversation he wasn't aware what he was doing.

Overall great series glad its put on and we can play it.

PUMPED ABOUT WOODSBALL

Wanted to note overall I thought the reffing was what you can expect from the series, my only complaint was the field owner not wanting to do anything but threaten to throw people out.

great event, had a lot of fun. knew npi would host a great event. my only complaint, and this is with every seps this year not just npi, is refs walking beside the snake player the entire way up the snake. the refs at any seps always do it. if someones laying down taking no fire there's no reason to walk beside them. but overall I had a great time

overall a good event...only issue with reffing was inexperience & seemingly scared to make a call or get in there & check. reffing is the hardest job in the sport & for the most part unappreciated. believe me ive reffed many events and played even more...unfortunately overcome inexperience is to ref events. i highly recommend players that wish to ref get in the rule book & study, as well as ref some rec play or scrimmages when tourney teams come to ur home field. dont be scared guys/gals...ur the authority figures out there! dont abuse that authority but u have no reason to be scared. make the call!!! see yall again next season

had a great event besides one bad call that cost us first place. head ref called it a dirty hang then another ref came and wiped the two hits off dudes chest and said they werent hits. other than that i was satisfied. we tried out the new redemption pro and it shot money! NPI has a great field! see yall next year in MSXL!

Running events is not easy. They made it run smooth like always.

Great event NPI and SEPS.

Overall it was a smooth event. The reffing was decent, but had its flaws. No event has perfect refs. Thanks for a fun day of play. And a special thanks to CEP for coming out and making us all dig deep and step up our play. I know my team had a blast. Especially beating CEP (I payed for Extreme Pimps). Lastly, thanks to NPI for putting on the event and thanks to the reffing crew for being there.

Thanks to all the teams for coming out and having NPI be apart of the SEPS series this year and also for the constrictive criticism, we are not perfect but will do our best to make it better. Thanks Robbie, The teams had a blast playing with you guys.

The facility was very impressive, it was good to see alot of old friends, the air fills were over 4k all day. The reffing was pretty much the same on both fields, sub-par. But that happens sometimes, I had fun
big ups to MoonMen, congrats fellas

Did anyone else get hit by stray paintballs? lol

I was walking along Field 1 (roughly 10 ft back from the "Warning Tape") and got thwacked in the side of the head by a paintball that had to have bounced off a bunker and over the net.

Also at the start of two of our games, while we were standing at the dead box, multiple rounds landed around us.

I do notice this happening occasionally at fields, but not this often. I could imagine it being a problem if that paintball had hit a child in the head, or hit anyone in the face.... that little devil hurt lol.

Just thought it was worth mentioning! We had no problems with the refs, they actually pulled a 1 for 1 on our team for a hand hit off the break.... he did not hesitate at all lol.

what are you talking about? U shot d1 out from s1? Ya I went d1 off break and got lit up by s1 and in no way did i try wiping a hit to my goggles, neck, side and gun. So your facts are pretty wrong
