I don't eat it by itself. I'm just saying, there has been many times that I have gone to restaurants (particularly Hispanic ones) and my food has been ruined because of that stupid herb, that for some reason, has become so popular to use even though it tastes like cleaning solution.

It doesn't take like soap to you?! I actually read a study last week about how for some people, Cilantro tastes like soap, while others find it doesn't at all. I am one of those that tastes soap whenever cilantro is in my food.
For instance, a couple weeks ago I went to a local Asian restaurant and ordered some pho. On the side they gave me some herbs and veggies. One of the herbs was cilantro, and I didn't know it. I put a small pinch of the herb in my pho, and BAM! It was ruined.
The smallest amount ruins food for me.
