Nah. I'm just hoping I'll get my start in this weekend so I can clip it off.

So what's the deal with bringing your gf to the gym and having her follow you around watching the whole time? Is it just to say "look at my gf I have a gf" or some other reason? I just don't understand guys (and girls, for that matter) like that I suppose.

Usually it's the ****'s fault for agreeing, after months, to come to the gym

then she doesn't want to participate

only rational response is to agree to watch Honey Boo Boo and fap the whole time while watching pixelated redtube mobile because your service is **** in that skank's apartment and let's face it the 3x2go website hasn't been very good since like 2008

When my girlfriend comes to the gym with me she just goes and does her own stuff.

She will come ask me for help doing stuff, or I'll ask her to spot me.

I like watching douche canoes bring the gfs in and have them lift 45s up to the bar on a squat rack/take them off. I'm like you are a douche for making your girlfriend lift those.

I'm gonna chime in here, and say that I don't believe employment is the ultimate goal of education, or even a very good one.

The only time employment should be the goal is if you **** up(like myself) and have way too much student debt compared to the degree you want to get. If it only costs, say, 10k, to get your degree, get it in whatever it will make you happy to learn about.

If you end up with 60k+ in debt like moi, don't get a degree in philosophy. I love philosophy and would have loved to pursue it further and tried my hand at teaching, but since I wasted too much money on undergrad, it's not a feasible career path.

This is exactly what I'm going to tell my kids, too. I will encourage them to study underwater basket weaving if they want. but on scholarship at public school only. not at boston ****ing university.

I feel otherwise I guess. My ultimate goal when going to school was employment as a Web Designer in the cheapest way possible. Originally the goal was to just get my Associates as fast as possible (hence the accelerated program) and then get a job and hopefully get in at a good company that will help pay for further education in the future. Then the economy hit the ****ter and I was fortunate to even have a job. That's when I decided to go back and get my Bachelor's. Problem was I was 3 years deep in work experience and my work experience taught me above and beyond what I was learning in school. Sure some gen ed's were interesting but they largely felt like a waste of time. But now even though I ended up not getting my bachelor's till a year after everyone in my class would have, I still had 4 years of experience that anyone graduating didn't have.

I guess I just don't have the drive to learn like some people do and I am fine with admitting that. There were so many times I would come home from work exhausted and dreaded needing to log on and do more **** just for a grade and not for a pay check. Just didn't feel worth it for me. Especially because not only was I doing "work" for free, but I was paying these people to make me do this work.

But when I get a project at work I get really into it. When I can't figure something out it sucks me in and all I can think about is finding a solution. Then when i figure it out and complete whatever project it is so satisfying.

I feel like I'm rambling. That is all.

My opinion, which I assert as fact, is that life is about making money and nothing else. I think I will just start a ponzi scheme and die before it is discovered. Or perhaps I will just do gay porn, because I here pay in that is good. I mean it is whatever, just as long as I have money so I can buy things and be happy.

Says he believes the goal of education is employment.

Hated going to school and felt like it was a waste of time.

I guess I'm wrong!

Never said you were wrong, merely said I had a different opinion. My first goal was employment and I learned a lot getting my Associates. Actually that's where I learned the basis of everything I know. I felt like my Bachelor's was a waste of time. I guess if I went straight through for my Bachelor's then that would be where I got my base knowledge but I still feel like I went the correct route with my Associate's and really didn't need my Bachelor's. I may need it in the future but there is no way of telling that now.

you will die unhappy if you base your life getting money. seriously. not saying its a bad way to live a life, but you will always be wanting more and die for a fact unhappy.

Pelt has transcended Poe's law. Gjmm

Also, I think today is credit card churn day(my favorite day of the quarter!)

If successful I should end up with 100k citi thank-you points, 80k priority club points, and I think 80k united airmiles. Not a bad turn out.
