Bmw M3 F80

Just wondering what you guys think of the Bmw M3 F80. Personally im kind of upset there abandoning the V8 and going to the inline 6 multi turbo. I know the torque will be amazing for it but I just love the sound of that V8 high revving engine. What do you guys think M3 F80?

I'm not talking all Bmws though I'm talking one specific car that hasn't come out yet.

Btw, how do you like that 2006 GTO, always thought it was a neat care and unique because you don't see many.

Sure, we can talk about BMWs in the BMW thread. Just like when I wanna talk about my car I do it in the American RWD car thread.

Great talk guys. Don't think its been stressed enough now. But thanks again.
So no one has ever created a thread about their car not in the official manufacture thread?

**** em, i like going with the turbo'd 6 cyl, like the 335's so easy to gain power with, with a jb4 chip or vishnu with bolt ons.. can beat an m3 for under the price of an m3..

The only individual car threads are the hardcore builds.

If you're not making double stock power, no, don't make a thread for your car. We've all seen stock BMWs before.

Go to the BMW thread, this is precisely what it's there for.

Ya I agree I've seen some chipped 335's beat some M3s straight line however, on a track its a different story the M3 will usually smoke it. But theres something about that M3 that you have to love about it. Its a stock track and daily driver. Now the question. If there was no price difference would you take an M3 or the 335 chipped?

M3 has a much better suspension setup, but as a street engine I like the 335. For the track or performance driving the feel of that high revving V8 is very satisfying. The 335i single turbos fall flat at 6K rpm, even chipped. The new m3 will probably have a tweaked motor though.

I do like Subarus. The wrx still is a really neat car. Plus it reminds of the Subaru rally cars I use to see as a kid. Its a nice looking car. What Subaru do you own if you mind me asking.

The c63 amg I like but it looks too much like a normal c class for me but then again that's a plus. (a sleeper for those that don't know much about Mercedes)

That M differential is a nice plus too. But yeah I'm hopingfor a high revving F80 M3. Supposed forum estimates and tests have shown it might be in the 7500 rpm range. The audio clips I've heard so far however have been disappointing.

I just want to find out 2 things (as im sure everyone else does too).

1: How much it weighs
2: A video of comparable drivers racing on the ring (E92 M3 vs. M4)

I believe the power is 415 HP. but alot more torque. IMO this car doesn't take away the badassness of the previous gen whatsoever though. So thats good for younger people/regular folk who have these cars in their sights

No price I'd take the m3 just because of the fact you get all the m proformance stuff along with it.. Although I've always preferred the boost to the all motor.. If I could afford an ESS supercharger for the m3 I'd take that all day!

Also if any of you got Instagram and wanna follow a dope shop that works on a lot of vcustom m3's, m5's ext check out @autocouture
