They should go back old school and have beginner, amateur, novice, and pro... There would be more teams in each division, so prizes would be better and potentially could bring costs down.

Beginner. Less than 3-6 events or equivalent to a season. 10 bps
Amateur. Most every body 1-3 d2 players max or d3 and under. 10 bps
Semi pro d2-d1. 12.5 bps. Penalty box
Pro. 12.5 bps. Penalty box

Having different ROF's for different divisions is stupid, and when they tried it in 2009 it DID NOT WORK.

And I believe what the intention for the higher price for d2 was to make teams bump up to D1, as for a while that division did not have many teams. That has changed, so chances are next season the price for d2 will also change.

Ya, different ROF is stupid.

That means not only are you facing better competition when you move up... You'd also be facing more paint.

Not only that, but as in 2009 feeder/ teams playing different divisions trying to practice would be a nightmare.

Every one else.
It's not like it's a different rof per div

And it's easy to enforce at events

They tried this concept in 2009, and as I will state again it did not work.

What would be the purpose of different rofs? And why are you bringing it up? Stay on topic.

It probably is to get more teams to bump to D1.

Those guys that play D1 don't break even either.

How many times have you ever "broke even" on paintball???

With paint, air travel, hotel, rental cars - you NEVER break even.

If you're playing to make money... you're in the wrong sport my friend!
