gog envy leaking, help please!

So my less than 3 month old envy with 2 cases through it started leaking yesterday. I took it apart, lubed it up nicely and checked all of the o rings on the bolt. They all looked fine but I replaced a few of them anyway. Put the gun back together and aired it up using co2 through a remote line. It was still leaking. The leaking doesn't seem to be coming from the regulator or asa. I can only hear the leak if I put my ear up to the feedneck without a hopper on or the breach without a barrel on. The leak sounds very faint. As if barely any air is leaking out. The leak sounds like someone breathing out slowly. Its not a hissing sound. Is this nornal, if not, how do I fix it? Someone please help!

If it's not one of the two o-rings on the front half of the bolt, or on the bolt stop, it may be a worn o-ring inside the breech, most likely the green one just behind the feedneck. They're sort of a pain to change, so before you try that run a good lint-free barrel swab through there with the bolt out a couple of times and then put a healthy dab of grease on it and try again. Sometimes a little bit of dirt or grime can get in there and cause a leak but a thorough cleaning can get it out and the leak will go away. If that doesn't work you need an o-ring pick to change that o-ring.

Ok, so i took the gun completely apart and washed the entire breach with warm water and soap. I then replaced that green o ring inside the breech and lubed it. I also lubed up the bolt nicely and put the gun back together. But the leak still persists!!!! Im starting to think that this is normal because it seems to be a very faint leak. Like i said before, you can only hear it if you put your ear up to the open feedneck. Maybe its just the sound of the air going through the marker? Someone please help and let me know what i should do from this point. Im starting to get frustrated.

GOG Paintball works for a Paintball manufacturer
If it leaks down the center of the bolt its the 14/70 or the 18/70 on the bolt
stop.

If its leaks on the outside of the bolt then its the 17/70 on the inside of the breach.

Put your finger down the breach and plug the bolt tip up with the tip of your finger. If it builds up pressure then your leak is because of a bolt stop orings and if doesn't then its because of the inside breach oring.

ok so i replaced the two o-rings on the bolt stop and then aired up my gun with some co2 and its still making the same leaking sound. I recently replaced that one green o ring in the breach too so basically i put in 3 brand new o rings in the places you said and the leak persists! When i stick my finger down the feedneck into the breach, i dont feel any air or pressure. Im once again starting to think that this "leaking" sound i hear when i put my ear up to the feedneck is normal. I dont know how to fix it if it is a leak. someone help me out please!
Oh and yes, i did lube up all of the o rings nicely.

You know what, just to eliminate the possibility of anything silly, degas the gun, do a "clearing shot" (shoot once with the eyes off after degassing to clear the air still in the chamber), and listen to the feedneck again to see if the "leak" sound changes.

I say this only because I swore mine was leaking at one point but it turned out I was getting the same effect as when you put a seashell up to your ear. It's just the ambient air in the gun that's kind of making an echo chamber. It was driving me nuts until I degassed it and cleared the chamber and realized I still heard it.

i know what your saying, but i already tried that. when the gun is degassed i hear that same sound when you put a seashell up to your ear, but when the gun is gassed up, i hear the same exact sound... but its slightly amplified. its the same sound but just a little louder. this makes me think that maybe the gun is supposed to make this sound because gases are flowing through the marker. I guess the only real way for me to tell would be to hook up my hpa tank to it and let it sit for a few hours or even days and see if the gauge goes down. but unfortunately my tank isnt filled. i guess i could live with the leak but i have ocd when it comes to these things. i like all of my things to be perfect. and i certainly wouldnt want it to get worse. ugh... idk what to do at this point...

It might be from the frame then. Try taking the frame apart, air it up and see if it's anywhere around the board.

Used my envy this weekend and it worked fine. My 24 oz co2 tank lasted me around 1000 shots so the leak must not be that bad. I think im just going to ignore it unless it gets worse, because it doesnt seem to be causing any real problems.

Considering our rental A-5's get 1100 shots off a 20oz, then you may want to send your Envy in for repair.

well i wasnt actually keeping track of how many shots i took. it was a rough estimate. Ill send an email to Gog now and see what they say. And i highly doubt your rental a5's get 1100 shots from a 20 oz. i owned an a5 for years prior to buying my envy and it was a gas hog. I never got Anything close to 1100 shots from a 20 oz co2 bottle. More like 800 - 900 shots.

Maybe we take better care of our guns then you did with yours. we average about 1000-1100 shots per tank, but then again, we also live in a warmer climate then you. Since c02 is temperature sensitive, the tanks will warm-up faster in a tropical climate vs a northern one

Also, my friend uses a SP-1 with the same solenoid that came on your gun, shot 1500 shots in an entire weekend off a 20oz co2 tank back in April, so if your only getting 1000 off a 24oz, therein lies a problem. BTW, his SP-1 was stock minus the barrel.
