I've been eating super healthy lately, and it looks like someone beat the **** out of me today, likely due to exhaustion. I've been on top of my ****. I THINK I DESERVE A GODDAMNED COFFEE AND DONUT.
Plus coffee on a rainy day is win. And I don't load my coffee up with sugar and **** so it's not quite so bad from a weight loss perspective.
All my workouts have consisted of walking almost daily for 30 minutes-1hour, instead of doing jack squat all day. I also do property maintenance on occasion and self auto repair, but also rarely. That's pretty much the extent of my physical activity.
Went from 190 to about 175. This is over the course of 1.5 years though. I kind of want to start going to the gym to get toned up, but eh.
pick up mountain biking or something else that makes working out a little more enjoyable than pounding the weights. Sitting in the gym does nothing for me unless ive got a nice butt to stare at or something. But mountain biking makes working out fun for me so thats what keeps me doing it.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that, too. Back during the summer I was doing 40-50 miles of mountain biking a week, sometimes more. Tough to do during the school year though so I make due with lifting and stuff. Mountain biking is great if you're trying to get in shape though. You can limit yourself both in distance and toughness of the trail you're on, you can take your time at first and slowly improve your times, etc. Plus it's fun, and actively engages you.
Thats what ive been doing. Some where in the neighborhood of 10-20 miles a day, just cruising trails. If im feeling fruity ill time my self to see how fast I can get around some, but I gotta be careful with that cause the park here that I ride at, peds dont seem to know how to GET THE **** OUT OF THE WAY when I yell ahead that Im coming. One guy had his fishing poles draped across the trail, sitting behind the trail, I said "COMING YOUR WAY!!" He looked at me, then continued to just sit there. Ran over his poles and kept going. I dont know if he said anything to me or tried to chase me, cause I had headphones in, but oh well. Theres no signs that dictate who has right away, but common knowledge will tell you that if a mountain biker is bombing a trail and coming pretty quick, get the **** out of the way, douche nozzle.
Hahaha yeah there are a couple hills where I ride at that get congested, especially when you're going down them. Doesn't help that part of it got washed out this year, so really it's narrow even for just one person on a bike...
Oh well, it's still fun blasting down them when you can see far enough ahead that it's not too dangerous.

Indeed it is. I love seeing the "OH **** MOTHER OF GOD" look on some peoples faces when I come down behind them while they are walking and ****. Luckily the trails here are nicely groomed and all of that stuff and wont wash out for anything. They DO get COVERED in pine needles though. Those have caused me to have a few uh-ohs here and there.
Fwiw I love my 770s. Definitely closed for studying or anywhere that there's other noise. Dorms don't tend to be dead silent. Also what're you powering them with and what's the source? If you're not using a good DAC/amp with lossless you probably won't notice the difference between 770s and higher end cans.
These days if I want to listen to music for the purpose of listening to music, i go upstairs to the desktop which has its 3.5mm audio out connected to a stereo splitter going into an old mains powered Sony receiver. If I do that all of the source files are flac or lossless wav. I listen to a lot of music on my gnex too, though, and I've been meaning to get a headphone amp, but I'm not sure which one to get. Especially if I end up getting a pair of higher impedance phones
