So i may have accidentally lubed my ions new o rings with dow 55 instead of dow 33. how big a deal is this really because i know that dow 55 can swell the rings but will the gun still function alright. LMK fellas thanks

I would clean the bolt and at least the orings. I recommend replacing the orings and relubing the bolt with the proper lubricant.

ya i'm already on that. but what would happen if i air up the gun and tried to shoot? thats what im asking

What he means is, if you try to use the gun while dow 55 is sitting on the o-rings, the swelling will cause the o-rings to shred when the bolt starts cycling. Dow 55's main use is on static o-rings, ones that are not in contact with moving parts. Case in point, ram sleeve o-rings on Bob Long Intimidators - they go on the outside, between sleeve and body, 2 parts that don't move.
