I am in Madison for the next few weeks and was wondering where I need to go to play some good paintball. I typically play speedball but would be open to playing anywhere that has a nice field with good staff. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Apocalypse is the best field around! It is just over a half-hour drive from the east side. Played there a lot before I moved to Milwaukee. If you are down for a bit farther of a drive, Boneyard in Sheboygan has an awesome field as well
Live in stoughton, so know where you are coming from. Closest fields are Edge in Janesville, Apocalypse in Poynette, and Action Packed in Waterloo. Honestly, last time I was at Action Packed, it was dissapointing. I would go between Edge and Apocalypse. Edge has better prices, Apocalypse is closer. Edge is typically 55 for case, air, and entry for team practice. Apocalypse is 100/case, plus 12 entry.
You can bring your own paint to Apoc for a fee. Field fee, air fee and BYOP fee equals $33
their in house paint price is steep but when you can bring your own you do alright.
Their team practices on an air ball field generally run on sundays.
thanks for the replys guys. Its good to know that there are some places to try out. I would love more airball fields but like I said I just want a nice place to play. Looks like there are some good options if you willing to drive a bit. I cant believe Madison doesn't have a solid field of thier own.
Used to have Dedicated in Madison, and the reball field Crossfire was out at Keva Sports Center around 2006. Reffed there for awhile in high school, then a lawyer comes one day and says the owner has no business license and he hadn't paid Keva rent in months.
