I wonder if Michelle Obama was thinking of the next four years with no lavish taxpayer funded shopping trips to Europe, or some of the poor patients from her old patient dumping program to summon the crocodile tears last night.

And the Obama is a family first guy meme - LOL the guy's brother lives in a hut in Kenya off a dollar a day.

yes, but... his illegal aunt and uncle are still here, and when they get busted committing a crime, they call the white house and get special treatment from our courts...

Obama is a typical liberal, different rules for different fools.

Good think Obama didn't have to put HIS kids in the failing public education system, as he gets to put them in the best private schools... Cause he is from the "elite" liberal class, which none of you are worthy to attain for yourselves...

I do find the lack of "accomplishments" about this DNC convention to be especially telling, but don't worry, the fools that champion his corruption, will be on board for 4 more years.

One called me last night from "volunteers for America"... My wife was cracking up when I started listing off facts about Obama...

funny, how the liberal media calls republican's words "lies" but democrats lies are "embellishments". Always pointing out their liberal bias.

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...09-04-23-35-49

Interesting fact that most workers don't realize, but business owners know all to well...

"Employers typically pay 82 percent of the premium for a worker, and 72 percent for a family plan."

Healthcare costs have skyrocketed in the past 3 years.

While I like Debbie, she can be... yea. Her facts are straight.

Ted Kennedy was definitely consistent, but not in the way you are portraying.
Again, how did those naughty things make him inconsistent in his policy? Specificaly abortion and healthcare. Like him or not, his dead carcus has been way more consistent than the Mittn's has. I mean its not like he championed 'conservative values' only to go on to the Apalachian trail or sending sexual emails to underage congressional pages. That would be inconsistent.

The head of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is having a tough go of it. She was caught lying, denied the claim, but there was a tape recording.

"Will Media Confront DWS Over Falsehoods?"

http://www.commentarymagazine.com/20...s/#more-804461

snippet from Alana Goodman's article:

Quote:
...Every important Republican was asked about Akin in the days following his comment. Will reporters ask leading Democrats whether they stand by their national chair, who has doubly lied about a matter of international import? Will any Democrats have the courage to call on Debbie to go?

Not only should the media press Democrats on this issue, they should also confront Wasserman Schultz. Itís not just that she was caught misrepresenting a statement by the Israeli ambassador, or denying that she made comments that were recorded on audiotape. Journalists should be even more concerned to see the DNC chair uttering blatantly false claims so casually, knowing full well that audio evidence and an objection from the Israeli ambassador could (and did) emerge to discredit her.

Will the media challenge Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats over her falsehoods at the convention? Or will reporters let her get away with something that RNC chair Reince Priebus would have been hammered over?

So does this clinch it?

I would be really curious to see what the results of an actual vote would have been, particularly had the two words at issue, "God" and "Jerusalem", had been voted on separately.

She's playing the race card like a champ too. She's mentally retarded. Some liberals are even laughing at her. Democrats have no platform, so they're resorting to calling all Republicans bigots, racists, nazis even.

What a ****ing crock.

Really enjoyed some of the speeches so far in the DNC. Clinton pretty much nailed it.

He basically went issue by issue, and didn't give talking points, but gave a brief explanation of the reality of the current political and economic environment. He also advocated for compromise and cooperation, and said that even though he as a democrat often disagrees with republicans, he doesn't hate them the way some conservatives outright hate this president. I couldn't agree more.

Yep Clinton was terrific. As he summarized, the GOP's divine mandate to protect the government from Communist infiltration resulted in a hellbent insistence on opposing anything from Obama. Even if Obama wanted to move back to segregation and make prayer to Jesus Christ compulsory in public schools.

The plan to "save the future of America" by cutting income tax for the richest Americans and capital gains and then gut funding for education and scientific research (which put this country on top during the 60's) shows just how deluded the far-right controlled GOP really is.

It is a sad day indeed when you have to nominate a candidate based on his presidential looks, and how inoffensive and unestablished his positions are.

I always try to look at these things with an objective mind- he made a few "us vs them" jabs, but for the most part he was absolutely right about the Republicans' zero-tolerance policies for cooperating with Democrats and the laughable unwillingness to cooperate for the sake of the country

Just because democrats say it's for the sake of the country, it doesn't actually mean it's for the sake of the country.

Rule number one about not being brainwashed by people like Obama, Chris Mathews, and Debbie Dishwasher or whatever her name is.
