New white Axe

So I was excited to get a chance to see the new Axe in the white and black color scheme in person. And it was a huge disappointment. It looked like someone did a halfway decent job of painting it in their garage. Anyone else seen one yet. Maybe I just happened to see a rare bad example. I would hate to think Empire would take something that is so successful and ruin it with this new finish.

It's not like the other colours have been discontinued or something. If you don't like the stormtrooper Axe, buy a black one.

I thought a 3rd party company was doing the color axes? I thought KEE was only making Black and Olive and a couple of limited runs like the Ice Axe from the factory. Like ANS gear has all their stuff sent out and anno'd thats how they get "Exclusive" colors of everything.
Boss would know much better then I however, maybe he will chime in.

seems it's painted with white enamel, not an anno. is this "LE" axe from the factory, or did some company make them themselves? not sure why they painted it instead of anno.

It is not paint. It is true enamel like the coating on your stove top. Very tuff.

hmmm thats kinda neat. wish they did some crazy enamel splashes instead of boring white. they don't do enough interesting colorways.

That's what I was saying. I do like the color. I was just disappointed in the quality of the finish. Maybe I just saw a bad example. Just letting everyone know what my experience was like. Definitely glad I saw one in person and didn't order one previously.

And most of those no longer have a warranty, seeing as it's essentially tampering with the factory whatsit. Granted Empire/Kee is still a great company and to my knowledge hasn't really enforced that much, just saying to those who don't know.

Most guns done by ANS gear still have the manufacture warranty and the ones that don't usually say ANS will back the warranty just like the original manufacture would.
