Axe leaking from inside the bolt?

well this problem has arose again, small leak from inside the bolt, can only hear it if I put my head up to the breech or at end of barrel, if I put my finger over the bolt in the breech pressure builds behind my finger, whats weird is this doesnt effect anything except if you dont shoot it for about an hour, the first shot will be like 175, next shots will be 280+/- 5 with no drop off during a rope. i reset the poppet/solenoid numerous times, I got an oring kit from oringmonkey and replaced all the bolt guide orings, have tried different tanks, fresh duracell battery and bought a brand new poppet assembly (when i put this new poppet assembly and aired up with it for the first time, it sealed up just fine, no leaks, next day i air it up before i go to the field and the leak started again). I also checked the inside of the bolt guide where the poppet seal meets the bolt guide and cant see any burrs or knicks or anything so i dont think thats the problem. settings are 5 dwell 140 psi with an infamous boss bolt short spring using planet eclipse grease dow33. like I said its not effecting anything while actually playing, i just dont like having my guns leak even if its small

issue resolved, if youre having same symptons in your axe its the poppet seal/poppet oring.

Change your battery to a fresh Duracell or Energizer first. A dead battery can cause a solenoid leak.

If that doesn't work, clean and lube your poppet o-ring.

No.

Depending on the type of leak it could be either the solenoid (which the above can help) or the Poppet/bolt guide.

A slow quiet leak would mean either the Poppet/Bolt Guide. Vs a loud fast leak would mean the solenoid..

Try turning the velocity back cap in all the way until it stops, try not forcing it past that. Then Air it up if it still leaks there could be a problem with poppet face seal or the bolt guide itself.

If it does slowly back it out until your at 3/4 turn then you should be fine. I would suggest that you lube the poppet really well before you try all this.

Most of these trouble shooting steps can be found in the manual of the marker.

If you have adobe acrobat installed on your computer ( if not, click here - Adobe Acrobat ) Go Here and download the appropriate manual for your gun. You can also print it out and put it in your tool box so you can have it with you at the field

A little wear from the poppet spring wouldn't cause a leak.

I'd say replace the poppet o-ring completely. Even if it looks OK.

Normally over time the solenoid will get dirty. Sometimes if you remove the top three screw(be careful not to loose them or the o-rings) us a Q-tip and clean out the solenoid and then clean off the piston. It should start to get louder it will also help increase the lifetime of your solenoid.
