G4 Reg
Hey guys, so I got a new G4 and I wanted to lube the reg and stuff before I go out and play and I was wondering how you guys take apart your reg, like what tools because I used a clamp on my ion, and I f***** it up, I was wondering just what tools you guys use to take it apart into the two pieces, thanks guys

i believe you need a 3/8 allen key to unscrew the top part of the reg. once you get that off then all you need to do is relube the piston and your done

from the gun? yes. all you need to do is turn it counter clockwise to unscrew it. then the allen key through the top to separate the 2 halves.

well i dont have a allen wrench that big, so i tried two strap wrenches, no luck

Throw it in the freezer for a while then try with strap wrenches.

this and you can combine a 1/4 and a 1/8 allen key to make a 3/8 allen key.

True. Also find an old mouse pad and use it to protect the reg when you pt it in your vise or vise-grips.

It all unscrews by hand just untwist righty tighty lefty loosy no tools needed.
