Good Non Field Woodsball in CT ?

Does anybody know of any good spots to play paintball out in the woods in central or northern CT?

There is a dive shop near me that will rent scuba tanks for $10 a day so if I can find a good spot in the woods I'm sure I could gather a few folks together for a game.

In CT, Paintball on State-Owned or Federal Reserve property is illegal.
The marking of trees with paintballs is considered vandalism and if you get caught, having all your gear confiscated will be the least of your problems.

If you try to play on private property without permission, you risk having the landowner stand on their second amendment rights and protect their Property & Privacy through the use of firearms.

The best you can do is find a landowner who is willing to accept the liability and allow you to play on private property.

Otherwise you risk being either arrested or shot at.

Your best bet is to go to a legitimate paintball field that has insurance, refferees, & a safe place to play.

All of CT Laws & Statutes are on file at any public library, I suggest you look them up before going out & trying to organize your own paintball games.

He's right...

Unless you personally know someone with the land, it's not worth it.
And if you're a serious paintball player that values the sport, you wont risk shedding bad publicity on the sport by getting caught playing it illegally.
In the wake of Sandy Hook and the Gun Control debates nationwide, ANY sport involving "shooting people" needs to be taken serious and shown in the best light at all times.
Be responsible... I know times are tough, and paying to play is costly, but if you really care about the sport, you'll do it right.
