I think I am doing too much shooting. Had to get my deer hunting gear out of my car for this game tomorrow. Then I have to put my deer hunting gear back into my car since I took Monday off.

hmm.... the more I think about it the more and more fun this sounds. Like I said in another post, last big/scenario game I did was years,years,years ago and I barely even remember it...

I just know that in open play if its like 30 vs 30 it tends to suck and end up with A LOT of FF. However, with the whole place being in play, that might be kept to a minimum? Anyone that has played blast camps events in the past care to chime in?

Wow, what an awesome day today!! The field is great, the staff/refs were superb, the weather cooperated (despite some occasional strong winds) and the game itself went well....

.....met some old friends...made some new ones...add in some spectacular trophies and raffle prizes and it was a day that, if you weren't there, you really missed out!....couldn't have asked for better!

Thanks to the folks at Blastcamp for their hospitality...you guys were awesome and I certainly appreciated it!! Looking forward to visiting you all again! :=)

I should also mention that I only lost one pod (full of paint I believe...must have snagged it crawling through some dense brush) and one barrel squeegee...so whoever finds those items....your welcome :=)

BUT...to make up for it...I won a sweet Empire podpack :=)

I agree with you it was a great event. I had a ton of fun. I also lost a squeegee but kept all my pods. Now I know why my pants had spots for two. Unfortunately I only owned one. No big deal will order a few this week so not to have this issue again.

Yeah....I normally buy squeegees in bulk because I always lose at least one...usually two every time I play...though sometimes I get luck every now and then and find one while I'm playing...

....I always ask around if anyone lost one and if no one claims it, then I keep it...though it was prob mine to beginn with LOL

Had a great time. Glad the weather was good as it was looking iffy heading out of Chicago in the morning. Lost a squeegee but I have several so didn't matter. Will definitely make it back there again. No to pull the footage off of the cameras and see what came out of it, I know the gopro was covered in paint towards the end.
