A whole new pump experience.

I had so much fun playing with my Empire Sniper that I decided to try stock class. I picked up a Phantom VSC and I've never had so much fun! My first day out with it wasn't super successful. We played mostly airball and there were a lot of electros and I have a lot to learn still lol. I went and played with it again yesterday and finally started to get really comfortable with it. It also helped that out of 17 people playing 8 were pumps. Glad I didn't give up on it after getting smashed my first time out. Completely changed the game for me. My poor Axe is just collecting dust these days.

Excellent! Way to go! Feels good, doesn't it?

I was the same way the first few times I played with my Phantom. It's difficult going against an entire field of ramping electros, but the more you play the better you get. I'll never forget the day I was playing on a sup air/spools field and we were down with the other team gunning for me, the lone pump. When I got my chance I popped out and put two on a guy charging up to bunker me - one on the chest and then for good measure one on the mask. Whipped around and got another guy in the loader as he was rushing me on the other side. THAT was the day I decided I loved pump.

Man, I miss playing!

My only question is why you didn't try stock class with your Sniper first? Using that mag feed with the spring locked forward (or removed entirely) does the trick as well or better than a Phantom's feed. The only difference is you might have a slightly easier time loading your next ball in the Sniper.

Can't we all just play Paintball?

The feeling is indescribable! The adrenaline rush when 4 people are moving in on you! It's so hard to be patient. That's been my biggest downfall so far lol. I'm getting better at it though. It's improved my game so much already. I move so much more than I ever did before and my snap shooting has improved 1000%.

Totally agree! Good for you man! Playing pump WILL make you a better player all around, trust you me. Made my situational awareness better, i move about the same amount but i get a lot more practice snap shooting.
