I will probably catch crud for even asking and suggesting this.

But with the price of solenoids for any gun being pretty expensive. Has anyone tried ever mounting a different solenoid in the viking? I saw on another forum where someone wanted to tap the viking body for m3 barbs (i think they are the same the timmys use?) They wanted to use the cheaper mac 43 noids which require a stronger current. Supposedly tadao boards will power that solenoid with no problem.

Reason i ask because those solenoids sell for 10$-22$ shipped depending on where you find them. Would probably slow the markers cycle time down using hose. But with more and more fields using either 15-12.5 bps cap. Cycle speed shouldn't matter anymore.
