I've been looking into getting better equipment.

So far I've looked into a 2011 Proto Rail with a Ninja Pro 68/4500

I was just wondering what PSI setting should I use for my proto rail??
Also if I'm just using my A5 or 98 Custom what PSI on my tank should I use for them?

Are you asking what type of tank should you get for them? Such as 3000 psi or 4500 psi.

I'm looking to buy the ninja 4500psi but it can be Adjustable between 450, 550, 700 & 800 PSI Settings. which should I use for the gun?

Read the marker manual as it will recommend which pressure to use.

it says 400-800 isn't that a little vague?

I would suggest around 550 PSI because that if you ever move on to another gun that pressure will be perfect for most guns.

I use the 2011 reflex rail with a ninja tank that outputs 550 PSI and it works perfect. I don't see the proto rail being any different.

I'd second the roughly 550 psi.

The tippmann should be shooting just up to speed with best consistency and lowest possible spring tension.


The rail can run at lowest output, but 550's fine. Besides, that's still far less stress on the regulator and better overall consistency.
