so....Now i realize why its a bad idea to drink at a company party....

drink a bit, and started hitting on/dancing with my sisters former boss(sister no longer works there, plus her former boss is out on disability), and also her friend....
not sure if a good or bad thing.... will be interesting going back to work sober tomorrow to hear the stories now..

I completely agree with you. I believe the intentions of many Dems are well and good, but the means of going about them often negatively impact the rights of American citizens. I'll say I support background checks at gun shows and more access to mental health care (I'll pass any background check you can throw at me and I'm not afraid to prove it), but an "assault weapons" and high-cap mag ban are not the way to handle things.

I've become very much a Libertarian over recent years. Politics in this 2nd Prez term is going to get plenty more interesting, I'm sure.

The high cap ban doesn't affect me too much now that I carry a 1911, but that's not to say I support it in any way. There's two fundamental points that keep me carrying every day and supporting the second amendment: 1, if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. 2, The only thing that stops bad guys with guns is good guys with guns.

That, and shooting is damn good fun.
