But then, IMO, considering most fields even for rec play cap at 15 bps, and tournies cap at 12.5, then there's no real reason to upgrade from a HaloB to a Spire either other than to have something new (which is a perfectly valid reason, but is completely a preference thing).
I love the Spire, works great. If you have the extra $$ and want something new and cool get it. If your hopper works well and you don't have an extra 200 bones laying around stay with the one you have.

I went from a halo to a rotor, to a prophecy, and now the spire. I planned on getting a Z2, but got the spire instead. Only because it was more convenient for me. Now i LOVE the spire and cant say enough about it. I feel that there is only one downfall. It is quiet! This can also be a good thing. I like how with the rotor, Vlo, halos, Z2 they keep spinning when they are empty and you can hear them spinning. The spire pulses and its super quiet. So sometimes you dont know when your loader is empty, but if you dont always wait for the loader to be empty for you to reload then you wont have a problem. I highly recommend the speed feed if you do purchase the spire. Its nice but so is the lid. It has a nice opening that is i believe is larger than the z2. All your opinion. If you can, find someone with a spire and try it out. Thats the only way you'll know for sure. Good luck!
I have 2 z2's and a spire. I only use my spire now. It has never jammed or broken paint and I love the 200 round capacity and easy disassembly. Z2's are nice but they are a pain to clean and I have had mine jam a couple of times.
