So I was at the feild the the other day and this guy that refs there had on a pair of clear flexs. It had clear frames, clear hard ears, and clear flex bottoms. The foam was getting old and the clear had some yellow staining from age. I wanted to buy them but I don't know how much they are worth so I didn't know how much to offer. I was thinking about seeing if he will take $30 for them. Would that be a good deal if he said yes to $30? And are these rare? I know I've seen clear frames and bottoms before, but never clear hard ears

There were clear Ize Flex 7's, had the clear frames, bottoms, & hard ears. I have one of em. I wouldn't pay more than $30, maybe less if the foam is looking ragged.

I've also got some clear EPS frames i got from some dude, and those might be more rare.

But rarity or not, it's the demand that drives up the value. They're worth whatever the majority of people are willing to pay for them.

Yeah, it depends if they are the thinner style (little more rare) or the thicker frames. The more stained they are the more it effects the price.

Yes, buy them. People will be them stained or not. I've sold 4 in the last year. If it has clear everything like you say, I'd say its worth $75+. I sold 3 with just clear bottoms for $60 each, the one I had that had clear everything I got $80 + shipping for

What kind of condition were yours in though? These are definitely used but I've got some flex parts laying around so I can probably fix them up a little bit (new strap and lens)

there is a ICY clear thread on this forum specifically about clear frames/bottoms. if they are yellowd then you can get them iced by a guy and they look mint

Clear hard ears sell on eBay for ~$5. Beat up clear frames and bottoms sell for ~20ea. Mint condition parts can go for ~40-60ea.

They're only rare when found in mint condition. There's ~1000 stained up ones out there somewhere.


Also, there never was a clear IZE Flex7 - smoke was the closet to clear for those. Also, there were no EPS clear frames - clear frames are available in the '04 style (thin frame) and the '05 style (current).

Some combinations are harder the find. The Olive/Clear bottoms are hard to find in good shape. I have some Steel Blue/Clear that are prototypes so those are actually rare.

I sold my clear frames for $55. 7/10 on condition.

If you can get them for $30, id say pick them up asap, if he knows flexs idk if he would let them go for that but give it a shot

They can be depending in the condition they are in. I've seen some very used ones sell for $50 with O.K. Foam
