I just got my order of Poly orings from theoringstore.com and the Poly 015 fits and seals PERFECTLY. Just thought I would share. My GT has been shoot'n super smooth and efficient!

So I have a Fitted kit coming in this weekend from Aggressive Sports (thanks SHOOTNPOO) and was wondering how long it will take to break in this new set of O-rings and if the kit includes instructions as to what O-rings go where?

The vitons tend to break in faster 4-5 cases, pollys, your looking 8-10 cases but the difference is the Polly will last longer and give better results once broken in.
I am printing charts to go with the kits and I will post here online also.

When do you think youll have that O-ring chart for the fitted kit up SHOOTNPOO?

So wait....
What kind of what size should you use on a VX?
Someone should fill in this chart.

Use the same sizes. You would just choose between replacing the drives dynamic o-rings with either polyurethane or viton orings or a compination of both. Both of which have better wear and performance characteristics than the stock bunas. Vitons will break in a bit faster but polys will be smoother over all once broken in. Also I would suggest using viton on the switch. Using a poly can create some issues with fsdo and bolt cycling when not broken in.

Regarding the VX, I personally have not been able to find polyurethane o-rings in metric sizes, so you are limited to vitons unless you can source them.
In which case, you'd just want to replace the valve and powertube o-rings with viton since the only non-metric one would be the powertube front.

So I swapped out my O-rings for the fitted kit from SHOOTNPOO. Gun shot well enough for a new set of O-rings but I had some FSDO if the gun sat for a bit and at the end of the day I degassed my gun but there was still some pressure that hissed out when I removed the bolt engine.
Is this normal and will it go away after the new O-rings break in? FYI I was using poly for the dynamic O-rings.

I had a bit of FSDO if my GT sat for a while after I swapped in the poly o-rings. It got less and less as I put more paint through it and now about 5 cases later it's completely gone. My ABS is set to 0 as well. Based off of my results, I believe yours will be the same. The poly o-rings make the bolt a little more snug on the powertube which is likely the cause of this until they break in a bit.

Yea mine has a bit of FSDO as well with the polys on it. It getting better though the more I shoot it.

yes, i've tried to source these from different manufactures and poly's are not offer in metric... I resorted to using viton orings only

When using the pollys for the first few times you must use a bit more lube until they start to break in. Reason being is they have a tighter fit when new. Apply a little more lube on the power tube and valve orings until you reach 5-6 cases and it will help with that FSDO.

Eric are you running vitons or polys on the valve?

He posted in the first page, running vitons on the valve:
"My marker running Vinton valve, Polly power tube, 015 Polly switch
Consistent 10 pods and hopper on 70/45
4300 fill and 290 FPS with 12-1300 psi left"

I must say my polys were a bit tight on the valve at first (even hand fitting the smallest ones I could) but they are working in QUITE nicely. I'll definitely do an efficiency test after a few more cases, but just looking at how much air I'm going through at the field based off how many pods I shoot each game, I can tell it keeps going up!

Thanks I saw that, just wasn't sure if he's changed since then and since he's had some time to break them in.

I had the same issue with my polys being tight so I swapped them for vitons on the valve. Poly was just TOO tight.

Some of the ones I test fit in there were definitely too tight, but I found some that fit "snug" but not too tight. After each time I play I manually test how tight the valve is in the keg and each time it seems to be getting a little easier to slide. I'm going to stick with these and just keep letting them get better!

that's awesome! I'll keep testing out different polys but the ones I did try were just way too tight.. hopefully I can find three that are just right!
I just got my 15's in today.. im hoping I have better luck with these 15's that the last batch I had. I had the same "floating" issue you had.. all too loose.

Yeah sometimes it's definitely hit or miss with o-ring batches. Right now I'm just using the regular 016 buna on the bolt switch, but I'll be ordering some vitons when I place my next o-ring order since the 016 poly had way too much friction for the switch.
