So far, 1 for 4. Dead wrong on Miami and Buffalo. I think the Jets will still get to .500 assuming they start Tebow sooner then later
Grade - D
1) New England 12-4 (1)
2) Buffalo 10-6 (WC 1)
3) NY 8-8
4) Miami 3-13
AFC North
Still up in the air, but not impossible to see it playing out this way.
Grade - C+
1) Pittsburgh 11-5 (3)
2) Baltimore 9-7
3) Cinci 8-8
4) Cleveland 4-12
AFC South
Definitely have the finishing order right, but the Texans need about 3 more in the W column.
Grade - A
1) Houston 10-6 (4)
2) Indy 9-7 (WC 2)
3) Tennessee 8-8
4) Jacksonville 1-15
AFC West
Give or take a win or two from Denver and this is still dead on to this point.
Grade - A+
1) Denver 12-4 (2)
2) Whales Vagina 8-8
3) Quiefs 6-10
4) Oakland 4-12
NFC Beast
Philly is waaaaay overrated here. I think if you flip Philly and Washington, and drop about 7 wins off Phillys record it'll look pretty close to right. Also, NY is looking closer to 11 wins then 13.
Grade - C
1) NY Giants 13-3 (2)
2) Philly 11-5
3) Dallas 9-7
4) Washington 9-7
NFC North
Overrated the **** out of Detroit and underrated the Vikes a tad, but I think Detroit and the Vikes will both finish up around .500. GB obviously already lost 3, so they'll be a 10-6, 11-5 team, and I think the Bears with their D can stay on pace for a 12 win season as long as Cuddles stays healthy.
Grade - C-
1) Green Bay 14-2 (1)
2) Detroit 12-4 (WC 1)
3) Chicago 11-5 (WC 2)
4) Minnesota 7-9
NFC South
This looks like the finishing order, but I think Atlanta will be the only team better then 8-8 at the end, and will probably have closer to 13 or 14 wins at this rate.
Grade - B-
1) Atlanta 11-5 (3)
2) New Orleans 9-7
3) Carolina 7-9
4) Tampa 6-10
NFC West
San Fran obviously going to win the div, but I think the Seattle, Zona, then St Louis is about right. San Fran will have at least 10 by the time its done, and Seattle may not make 9 wins.
Grade - F
1) Seattle 9-7 (4)
2) San Fran 8-8
3) Arizona 5-11
4) St Louis 3-13
WC Weekend
Indy @ Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh
Buffalo @ Houston - Houston
Chicago @ Atlanta - Chicago
Detroit @ Seattle - Detroit
Div Round
Houston @ New England - New England
Pittsburgh @ Denver - Denver
Chicago @ Green Bay - Green Bay
Detroit @ NY Giants - NY Giants
Championship Weekend
Denver @ New England - Denver
NY Giants @ Green Bay - NY Giants
Superbowl
NY Giants vs. Denver Broncos - Denver
MVP - Peyton Manning
OPOY - Aaron Rodgers
DPOY - Von Miller
OROY - Andrew Luck
DROY - Luke Kuechly
CPOY - Peyton Manning
SB MVP -Peyton Manning
Let homerism ring!

Overall grade - C+
Annual Awards - 4-2
Grade yourselves *****es.
A+ - 100
A - 95
A- 90

AFC
North:
1. Baltimore Ravens (#2) #1
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (#6) #2
3. Cincinnati Bengals #3
4. Cleveland Browns #4
So far, so good. The Ravens are on track to get that #2 seed, and I can still see the Steelers making the playoffs; they are one of three 4-3 teams in the AFC right now, the others are the Colts and the Dolphins. A+
South:
1. Houston Texans (#1) #1
2. Indianapolis Colts #2
3. Tennessee Titans #3
4. Jacksonville JagSoHards #4
Again, spot on. Texans should be able to get home field advantage no problem. A+
East:
1. New England Patriots (#3) #1
2. Buffalo Bills #3
3. New York Jets #4
4. Miami Dolphins #2
Here is where I go a little errant; the Dolphins are doing surprisingly well. The Bills are right in front of the Jets as predicted. B-
West:
1. Denver Peyton Mannings (#4) #1
2. Kansas City Chiefs (#5) #4
3. Oakland Raiders #3
4. San Diego Chargers #2
Why oh why was I so high on the Chiefs? Wow. The Broncos should definitely lock up that division, though; I could see them working up to a #3 or #2 seed. C-
NFC:
North:
1. Green Bay Packers (#2) #3
2. Chicago Bears (#5) #1
3. Detroit Lions (#6) 4
4. Minnesota Vikings 2
Way off, although this division might produce three playoff contenders like I predicted. C-
South:
1. Carolina Camthers (#3) #4
2. Atlanta Falcons #1
3. New Orleans Saints #3
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers #2
Terrible. The only thing I got right was New Orleans' standing, and that the Falcons would be near the top. D+
East:
1. New York Giants (#1) #1
2. Dallas Cowboys #3
3. Washington Redskins #4
4. Philadelphia Eagles #2
An incredibly close division here, and I'm off by just enough to make me look bad. I have a feeling this will be a lot closer to being correct at the end of the season, though. C-
West:
1. Seattle Seahawks (#4) #3
2. San Francisco 49'ers #1
3. Arizona Cardinals #2
4. St. Louis Rams #4
Well, I did expect the Seaturkeys to be a surprise, and to an extent, they have. C+
MVP- Eli Manning This is still quite possible, as his team is 6-2, and he is a very big reason for it. Is there a better quarterback in the 4th quarter?
OPOY- Arian Foster Only fifth in the league in rushing yards, but has nine touchdowns. He's still in the mix.
DPOY- Jason Pierre-Paul Not many people would be surprised by this.
OROY- Andrew Luck RG3 will get the nod if he stays on the field and doesn't have to play at Pittsburgh every week. Still, he's done well.
DROY- Luke Kuechly I haven't heard his name much, but he does have 61 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
CPOY- Peyton Manning I think this is a shoe-in, here.
SB MVP- Arian Foster Well, his team could very well make it, and if they do, he could very well have a big performance.
|
Overall, I got about half of the division standings correct, and I think that not many people would be surprised if any of the people on my awards list actually won. I also think my division standings will get better as the year goes on, specifically in the NFC East, where I see the Iggles falling precipitously, and in the NFC North, where the Vikings are beginning to show signs that they overachieved hard in the first half of the season. I would give myself around a C; I think I did fairly averagely.

Lol Eli for MVP? Not with those numbers. He's not even the best QB in his family let alone the best in the league.

99.9% of QBs that have ever played the game wouldn't be the best QB in the Manning family either...

Name one quarterback who has been directly responsible for more of his team's wins. Where would the Giants be without Eli? You could say Peyton will be MVP, and I wouldn't be surprised there either. Aaron Rodgers is up there, too. I would say those three are the top candidates right now. Right now, Mike Sando has Eli at #2 on his MVP Watch, and he's been on the list all season. He's an All-Pro caliber quarterback whether you like it or not.

Giants have a good team with out Eli. I don't really mean to take away from Eli, he's a good QB, but they have excellent receivers, a good defense, etc. Pretty solid talent around him. Peyton is playing well and will probably get MVP since the media swings from his balls, but Denver was a playoff team with Tim ****ing Tebow at QB, and play in probably the worst division in the league.
I think I'd have Rodgers higher on my list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Eli-te led the league in 4th quarter rating since like 2010?
Eli flushes more clutch down the toilet every morning than 99% of the QBs to have ever played the game had in their career.
