Is it bad for the gun to set the dwell to 9 if the gun allows it? I mean the chrono is the same on 9 as it is on 12 it's just very inefficient at 12.

A guy at the field told me it was, I figure it's not but I remember hearing something about luxes burning out solenoids at low dwells like 6 but I didn't know about clones.

It'll be fine. If it's going to damage the gun, why put the settings on the board to begin with?

Makes sense. I wondered why he said anything at all because its not like my gun was down it just wasn't shooting enough paint on a 3000/68 fill ( like 600 balls which is 900 on 45 fill)

I'd change out the orings on the bolt and lube it up with a thin coat of monkey poo.

Relubing your reg should also be on your to-do list if you haven't done it yet.

Well everything is good until my valve orings break in. They break in in like 5 cases then efficiency goes down hill.

Do yourself a favor and get some Vitons for the valve, they should last quite a while. Although it's strange the standard buna o-rings are losing efficiency after 5 cases.

I left mine on the stock settings.. if its not broke I'm not messing with it All my other markers I tweaked dwells and settings till I lost sleep at night for hardly no gains at all

Well that efficiency was at 10 ms. At stock it was close to like 1 pod per 1000 psi.

wow.. I have no issues getting atleast 7 pods of a 68/4500 tank with stock settings.

Yeah my clones a freak. Pressure is around stock if not lower and dwell is 7...

sounds like something is wrong. also the efficiency goes up when the gun is broken in too... not down. my drone took almost 8 cases the doubled on efficiency. my vx with 12ms is in its break in stage and gets a good amount of pods out of a 68/45. you should leave the gun on 12ms until the situation is figured out. also bad paint will case terrible consistency.

As long as you don't need to up the pressure to keep the same velocity, you can't really break anything. If you do take it too low, you will just notice that your consistency suffers. Also, get some Viton o-rings for the valve, they last much longer.
