Simple question..

So when I had my nt I set the gun to 300 with no spacer, and dropped the velocity with the spacers. As I found out, the fun only got less smooth if I raised the pressure to compensate...

My question is, do you do the same thing with the 11, or can you adjust the velocity with the reg now without getting problems?

The smoothness will decrease with the spacers. That's why I have none in mine

That's not even true, that should only happen if you raise the pressure.

It is true, bud. More spacers = more kick, less spacers less kick.

Frankly I think the spacers are useless since most people are looking for a smooth shot as possible but yeah..

Spacers or no spacers, the kick will only differ with the pressure you are using.

110 psi using every spacer will be as smooth as 110 without any spacers....only difference is the fps. Keep the pressure as low as possible while achieving the proper fps will get you the smoothest shot.

And let the NT smashing Paint with this stupid low pressure....
The kickin for a clean shoot with brittle paint is ~130psi with the NT10 and ~120-125psi with a NT11. I recommend a MPR (550-650psi), this reduces the kick also a little bit (real funny, with HPR you have more kick than with MPR/LPR and no one can or want to explain it).

Yeah the reason I said originally that the more spacers you use the greater the kick is because I was assuming he wanted a constant fps. If you use the fps as a constant then the more spacers you have then the more you have to increase your psi to maintain your fps

I don't really think you read my original post....

Wht I was talking about, is my old by got finicky only if I dipped the velocity with the spacer. Is it still recommend to do the same with the 11s..?

It's funny that a lot of people really don't know what I was talking about, even though I thought I was being clear.

You mean using the spacers to adjust velocity vs using an allen key to adjust it via HPR?

Lol well you are definitely not being clear. Your smoothness is always going to change with your psi. But is ^ that what you are asking? You are changing the pressure with inserts and not touching your Reg?

Yup. My 10 wouldn't work right if I adjusted the velocity with the reg, so again...

Is the 11 less finicky with that? Or should I just adjust it with the spacers?

I have never used any spacers and I adjust the fps via HPR. I heard about people saying to use the spacers to adjust the velocity... which is way more of a pain vs taking an allen key to the reg. Haven't had problems treating it like a normal gun haha.

You might have just gotten a finicky nt. Either that or your dwell needs to be adjusted slightly. The nt11 should have no problem being adjusted with the Reg and if it does try changing the dwell and seeing how it shoots.
