Eating plan to gain weight

Alright guys i know some of you are actually pretty knowledgeable after reading these threads for a bit.

I'm 180ish and 6'`. I'm looking to get to around 215 and keep that weight. I eat like **** right now but I eat 2-3 meals a day almost every day.

Someone who already has a solid diet plan want to msg me and show me what they are doing?

I'm fighting a losing battle here.

you just need to eat more.

get your protein requirements, .8g/lb minimal; and fat requirements, .5g/lb minimal; then fill the rest of your caloric needs with whatever food is appealing to you.

lift. eat. sleep. repeat.

eat 250-500 kcal above your caloric intake right now; this will prevent major fat gain. you will gain .5-1lb a week roughly. if you dont care about fat gain, eat 500+ kcal above what you are currently eating. try to add in more carbs.


a bunch of questions come into play:

-how fast do you want to gain weight?
-what is your goal?
-minimal fat gain or it doesn't matter?

gaining 35lbs is a bunch of weight. doing it fast will result in major fat gain. there's no way around that.

doing it at any rate straight through would most likely result in some major fat gain if he is a natural, unless he has damn good genetics.

Well I've never really eaten well but my last deployment I got to 200 pretty quickly. Tht was strictly muscle and gym 2-3 times a day. I'd like a healthy balance of eating and lifting. Instead of killing myself at the gym everyday.

m16 tattoo? I have a silhouette of one of one of my friends who died who has an m4 in his hand? But i really doubt that is the tattoo you are referring to

You didn't eat well and gained strictly muscle? You didn't eat well but you went to the gym 2-3 times a day? You don't want to work hard? There is no balance of eating and lifting, if you're not doing one then the other is a waste of time.

The part of the military i am in we aren't exactly allowed cameras overseas like normal military units or I'd love to have taken a picture.

You'll be much more likely to understand and apply nutrition principles consistently if you pick up a book on the subject.

I don't have any recommendations off the top of my head but I would look into something along the lines of "bodybuilding nutrition and dieting" for keywords. You may not necessarily care about bodybuilding but it's a good outlet to learn about gaining/losing weight.

Eat healthy and balance diet to maintain a healthy body weight.
Don't eat too much fats or fried foods these can raise the cholesterol level.
Eat more natural protein foods i.e eggs, fish, meat, yogurt, cheese, banana, sweet potato, beans, and rice etc. to gain your weight.
