Saw that Greenspan was using a Geo3 recently and generally plays back/mid. Anyone that can comment on Eclipse sponsored teams that have back players switching to the Geo3? Or, is it still not efficient enough compared to the Ego11?
Anyone that plays D1/D2/D3/D4 back/mid already switched or thinking about it? Is it a realistic option?
all the videos ive seen everyones been getting a solid 8 1/2 pods off a brand new gun. If you polished the bolt and broke the gun in (10+ cases) and then altered the dewell you should be putting out a solid 10-11 pods.
Looking forward for the feedback as well. I'm about to upgrade from an Etek3 but as back player the efficiency is something that worries me since in the local fields in my area have around 3k~3.5k psi.

with you so far.... Although I am not sure who 'everyone' is.
His efficiency vids are straight up IMO and he got 1127 shots off a 68/4000 fill. So I'm about ok with you saing 8.5 pods.

Huh? I feel like your cell phone is crapping out here.... did you just say 10-11 pods? I think that you are yanking that out of the stink hole behind your bollocks.
To the OP. Expect 8~9 out of the box. Fully broken in etc, maybe it goes up by 1 pod, but I would not expect it to ever get 11 pods.

And if Jack says don't polish the bolt, Do. Not. Polish. The. Bolt.
I wouldn't expext any improvements over stock from a pooty mod. Remember that most of his mods are aimed at decreasing the friction on O-ring surfaces. In the case of a GEO, all that will do is INCREASE bolt speed and percieved kick. In a DM you can reduce friction and thereby lower LPR, in a Luxe/shocker you can use the mod to reduce stiction and risk of FSDO, but in a Geo 3 there is no LPR and there is also no stiction issues. So you're likely going to be best off not modding your part, and lastly, I am sure that a Pooty polished Geo3 bolt is a warranty voided situation, which is fine as long as you go in with eyes wide open. I am not bashing pooty, he's got some good stuff, and some stuff that isn't for me, but at the end of the day he offers something to the Pball community at large so good on him.
