Looking For Opinions
I'm looking into getting a new pump to upgrade from my kp. I cant decide on the mini oracle or the sniper. Please help me out and give me your opinions on both the guns.

basically if you get any sniper body you can upgrade the parts to your preference. IMO doing that is the best thing you can do. its cheaper than getting a brand new CCM, and you can make it shoot just as nice as one if you upgrade it with good parts. i have a check it v2 classic i got brand new, and with the couple of upgrades i put on it, its just as nice as any CCM. or there is always the Phantom, it would be a great upgrade also, it can be put into many different configurations, and is ready to shoot out of the box.

cockers/ the orracle are almost all heavier then the empire sniper, and if your building it yourself you need to know how to tune it for it to shoot correctly, spring it, tune it, and sweetspot your reg, and many pump kits wont be quite as smooth as an ES. if your into that stuff build your own by all means. or just buy an empire sniper, smooth pump, attractive, pretty much ready to go out of the box, integrated hitman mod, lower maintenance, already midblocked.
ultimately up to you. never owned an empire sniper but have shot plenty and used them extensively, only ever owned custom built cockers, but i do feel like the ES is def a step up from many cockers... unless there fully or mostly CCM'd then its a total toss up.

orracles are nice I had to but they are good with a ccm kit, but the sniper is nice and comes with a built in auto trigger which alot of ppl use in tourneys. My opinion is go with what feels comfortable to you and try them if you know someone that has one of each. both are good guns but the sniper is the better buy

I'm not meaning to hijack your thread by any means, but I am currently building a custom cocker pump and in reading this thread I began wondering, why do many people want an auto-trigger on a pump gun? In my mind, it just kind of defeats the point. Pumps with auto triggers belong in mechanical-only tourneys with other semi-auto cockers and Mags and stuff. Just my opinion. Anyway, my opinion for you is the Orracle... I like tinkering and customizing so that would be my suggestion, but maybe that's not your thing.

I want to see that ****. People should really do their research before posting... Jimbo, if you're so adamant about pump guns not having a/t, why not just shoot a Sheridan?

I have the same opinion you do on auto trigger but, it does come in handy when your are in a big game trying to lay down a lot of paint. When playing pump against pump, or in a tourney, or a regular woodsball game you shouldn't need auto trigger.

According to him yes, but isn't it kind of hard to use the auto trigger option with a stock stock class phantom because you have to rock in cock?

the only advantage i see with getting an empire sniper is the fact you get a lot of stuff with it. it's pretty much ready to go, except for 10rd tubes.
