He says that the most he'll give me back is 5. What makes you think that he;ll give me back my full 56? Hater, if you want to do the right thing, give me my full refund because I did not get your iPod. This will be the last time I am posting on this thread. It is a waste of my time and literally a waste of my money. So if i dont see a pm by you hater, within 2 hours, I will giving you a negative feedback and make your buying and selling on pbnation hell.

I have never Insured a Package for any Pbnation I have done. Even out of High End Gun Deals, I have never done that.

insurance for $60 is 75 cents. three quarters to make sure this situation would be fine

It's not about what your getting or not, that's not what I'm talking about. It's about what you are asking for, if you didn't receive a 56 dollar item isn't that what you should be pushing for ($56) not $10.

Sure tracking will show a package arrived..

BUT that is all it shows..
Paypal has options to choose from for the protection of the buyer..

Item damaged,item signifigently different than described,MISSING or lost items/parts

paypal will investigate the claim and make a determination..

it will boil down to he said he said without proof the item was in fact in the box or for that matter not in the box..

all the buyer really has to do is show the photos he had shown the seller...

chances are its not a damaged box from the post office.. but it could be..

it could also be someone noticed a package sitting on a door step and decided hey, lets check out the freebies..
it could also be the buyer is trying to scam..

point is, its hard to tell and paypal will do something about it..

To the op..

have you registered the ipod with apple when you got it?
connected it to itunes and had it take the info from the ipod itself?

if you have registered it You can report it stolen.. I may be mistaken but if you report it Apple will be able to determin if someone connects a stolen registered ipod to their system for software updates via itunes and the usb cable or to pull music from the itunes store..again, I can be mistaken about that..

if I am correct than the person who has it will basicly never be able to update the ipod,connect to itunes ect without running the risk of it being detected and shut down.. (again, could be mistaken)

To all of you who posted, I got my money back from Paypal. I had to call in and tell them my situation. OP then told me he was going to prove me wrong and that I do have his iPod by going to usps and checked the weight of the box at every destination to show that it was the same weight the whole way and the iPod was not missing. Turns out that I was right and the iPod did get lost.

Buyer, at no fault of his own did not recieve the item he paid for.

i tried to explain this in another thread that involved a high end gun where basically the same thing happened but everyone seems to think as long tracking shows item was delivered, the sender is in the clear...

exactly that's from a business. not a private party. not when it shows the item got lost in the postage system.
if i want something insured, I PAY for it not the seller.
it isn't their responsibility to pay to insure it, it is up to me.
i have bought many things on many different forums online and have always paid shipping and offered to pay insurance as it is My(Buyers)responsibility.
