Yes. That's the only weekend that works for all of the schools.

Think of it as a good warmup for Nationals:
-playing on the layout
-playing back to back days (just like Nationals if you make it to Sat)

Plus, we could have a conference dinner Sat night since I'm guessing most teams will be either close or staying in the area.

I've never actually been there but have heard good things.

I was also thinking of maybe having a Class AA event there first to see if they can handle a multiday event.

Thats a good idea. for class A we should try to mimic play as close to national as possible, from every last detail

Hey guys, I work at Lainway part time. While we don't have penalty boxes we could most likely get them put together if you guys want to have an event there. No scoreboard though. BUT, its flat, owned by a sod farmer, and we don't have rocks. Lemme know what other questions you guys have.

I personally use the scoreboard in game, in penalty situations, i personally would like to have a score board. Please don't see me as *****, but that is a pretty big part to hosting a class a event.

Penalty time, horns, its a part of the game, and it is there for a reason. So lets keep it that way, i am not half-assing an event two weeks before nationals, it behooves me to do so.

When we end up only having four stop watches and a piece of paper that's when we're in trouble.

I'm actually working on a web version of the scoreboard so in theory all you will need is any web enabled smartphone.

Headrush in Syracuse has field turf (drains perfectly in the rain), penalty boxes, and scoreboard. They also have experience running a lot of very large tournaments and leagues, and a lot of AA NCPA events. May be a drive for some of you but thuaght I'd throw it out there.

Because we drove 5-6 hours last event I would prefer something closer to us. Top Gun would definitely do it if needed but Lainway would be ok.
