Individuals that stand out to us will be able demonstrate a positive attitude, knowledge of how paintball is played at a high level (paintball IQ), furthermore individuals with excellent gun skills and bad attitudes will NOT be chosen over those who can react professionally when receiving criticism. We are not looking for superstar players, we have the means and capabilities to make you one of the greatest locally. Other stand out qualities include; being able to admit your failures and change them accordingly, doing the same job on field in a number of different ways. Financial stability will also be a factor.
What to expect
: A hand out will be given to you in the AM further outlining our goals for the year and what you can expect from us throughout the year, this document will also outline what we expect from our players. The practice will be similar to what most local practices are like. You will be thrown together with random players to scrim against a 5 man line of Vancouver Fracture. Other individuals will be watching and taking notes your game play. After a fair amount of games have been played and everyone has had a chance to play everyone will be encouraged to participate in full field 1 on 1’s, this will be an opportunity to show off your paintball IQ.
How you should prepare
: Make sure your marker is in perfect working order and is set to 15BPS ramping as this is the CXBL format. Make sure to wear a jersey with your name on it as it will make things easier for us. If you don’t have one come talk to us and we will get you set up with some duct tape. Bring some food as there will be a break after the scrims and before the 1 on 1’s.
Contact info will be recorded and we will get back to you regarding potentially picking you up on the following Wednesday.
