I was at a sports bar and grill while this game was on and a ton of Michigan fans just got up and left during the 3rd quarter with one Alabama fan laughing.

Few notes from today, then sleepytime for me:
tFoot - my heart goes out to you. Rough game for Michigan. I was hopeful, but the wheels fell off early. Hopefully next week brings you a Savannah State.

I'm happy with todays Nebraska game, even if they did beat up on Southern Miss. Keep in mind that the game was tied at 14 at one point. Nebraska put the foot down and Southern Miss couldn't recover.

Nebraska punted once, had two missed field goals (GRRRRRR!!!) and had the ball at the end of the game. Otherwise, every drive ended in touchdowns.

Taylor Martinez played great against a lesser opponent. However, that's the only opponenet they had this week, so I will take it. Hopefully it will build confedence for the rest of the season. He only threw two bad passes, but missed a lot of open recievers deep in favor of the checkdown, which I am fine with (for this week).

Defense looked decent. Defensive line needs to stay home, linebackers made some nice plays but Compton only got about 50% of his open-field tackles. Secondary played lights out. Many runs were due to good coverage.

Injury report is not good:
Burkhead is out for a few weeks, hopfully back in time for Wisconsin. Will know more Monday, but as of now it's a strained MCL. If it's torn, watch for him to take a medical redshirt and try to get another year of eligibiliity.
Tim Marlowe has a broken clavicle. He will be out until Northwestern probably. Will have surgery "soon".
Ben Cotton separated his shoulder and has an undisclosed rib injury. He's probably not going to the UCLA game and will remain day-to-day.

I'm happy, but I'm sleepy so I'm out. Later OTs! Hopefully I will see some of you tomorrow.

Certainty: 70%. The team has not been wildly successful, and our source said that they are “exploring all three options” – which I assume means they are looking at playing both, or only one. Not sure why the brand would want to switch to the NPPL. Are they reading How To Mismanage Your Brand For Dummies?
