Best Bore to have Milled for Freak Inserts

I'm going to buy a 2-piece barrel that I like, particularly for the style and design, and would like to know if the bore size matters if I'm going to have it cut for freak inserts. Does it matter?

Would make sense to get the same or one size bigger bore than the biggest bore you will be using

Where do you get the boring done? and how much does it cost? And could they do a pistol?

When people ask me what size to send I always tell them to send the largest one they got.

In response to order of operations get it bored first. that way the anno on the inside of the barrel will match and you will not have raw aluminum showing.
