X7 question that is confusing me

I just upgraded my marker from a 7 year old Custom 98 to a X7. It has the TechT Cyclone full upgrade and I am using a response trigger. I will also be using HPA mostly because I am not a huge fan of CO2 mostly because air is cheap or free, that and the X7 does a great job with air. What I am really confused about is this marker is including JCS Red Hot Power Tube w/ JCS front bolt as well as the original equipment.

I am trying to figure out what are the pros and cons of this and I am reading mixed reviews about this. I can't get any accurate information. Can anybody help me with some information on what it actually does as well as how much of a game changer is it really, based on experience?

Personally I can shoot usually about 10-15 PBS but I am more of a burst shooter where I do shots at about 5-7 pbs and I am a heavy woodsball player.

Don't waste your time with the aftermarket power tube and bolt. Unless your stock power tube cracks there is no need to change it.

Aftermarket internals dont really enhance performance unless you get a spring kit or a hairpin trigger, which wouldnt work very well with your RT. With Tippmanns, stock is best.

I am getting it for free pre-installed in the marker. I am also getting the original power tube and bolt. Should I just leave the JCS Red Hot Power Tube or put the original one back in? This is my first X7 but not my first marker.

I recently bought a marker with the following mods/upgrades...
· Response Trigger
· JCS Red Hot Power Tube w/ JCS front bolt (originals also included)
· Tect-T Vortex mod upgrade for the Cyclone feed

I plan on keeping the Tech-T vortex mostly because I would have done that mod either way. The Response trigger to me a is a most because I am not a huge fan of egrips. BTW, any other mods/upgrades I should look into when it comes to woodsball?

I am thinking of adding this package... http://www.ebay.com/itm/310400010041...ht_1951wt_1016

Here's a picture BTW. and yes I know the hopper is on backwards, I didn't take the picture.

Simmer down hot sauce.

If this is your first X7 I would suggest going as stock as possible and playing with it for awhile to see what you think needs upgrading. Get a feel for it, is it doing what you want? Tippmanns are solid out of the box. Just because something can be upgraded doesn't mean it has to be.

Everyone has preferences. I would stay away from upgrading your cyclone feed system while having a response trigger, it seems to cause issues. If you ramp up your cyclone i would suggest getting a techt fang trigger. Lots of adjustments, and can lay ropes if needed. Just play and see what you think you needs changed.

It already has the...
· JCS Red Hot Power Tube w/ JCS front bolt (originals also included)
· Tect-T Vortex mod upgrade for the Cyclone feed
...*you think I should put stock back in?*

I do want to add the fang, I agree.

You'll be fine if it's already installed and coming with the marker. The power tube and bolt are usually a waste of money if buying them alone.

I would not worry about that package as you stated the marker already comes with the vortex mod which is two parts in that package. Just look at getting squishy paddles for the time being.

Yeah, I am getting some Squishy Paddles from a friend of mine that accidently got two orders of them. Gonna do a clean down this Sunday and clean this marker up. It's a bit sticky. GOD CAN'T WAIT TO SHOOT THIS MARKER.

every upgrade does help a little. since it got it free keep it in. front bolt is better on paint. tube if it metal give you better bps. cyclone techt give you better bps and less skip shot if it dont pop corn. but i hate the techt squishy.
keep everything you got on it since it all going to be install for you. go with stock x7 phenom squishy paddles. soft paddles make it skip shoot. but that just my opinion.

Keep the stuff in there and play. The differences are negligible.

I have tried both an upgraded bolt and stock bolt, It is true... the difference is hardly noticeable, maybe the sound it makes changes a bit...
