WCPPL, why on earth did you schedule the first event on Easter Sunday? My team was going to try to win the d4 series this year and now were in trouble because were going to have to try to do it in three events...... Whyyyyy....

Its in between psp dallas and nppl HB. I think it is good timing. Two weeks after dallas, two weeks before hb.

its definitely unfortunate, but i don't think WCPPL had much of a choice due to other tournament scheduling.

They are going to do what they are going to do, and i respect their leadership and organization, but i think that it's not the best idea to start the season off with an event that is going not going to be attended in as large of numbers as their later events. My team signed up to play D4 but i won't be able to go and play with them

definitely gonna suck that the first tournament won't get a huge kickstart with all the teams, but it'll still be great competition. Always is.

when did easter become such a big holiday? It's not like its christmas or anything. Go hide the eggs...by the time your kids find them the tournament will be over.

Or the teams that are playing paintball to win who already miss day to day things in life on sunday like church (which is why you really celebrate easter) are gunna show up grind it out and show up to every event whenever it is because they want to win a series

Lets put it this way. look at the registered teams...every division besides open is almost booked up or is booked up...doesnt look like its gonna be a missing anyone. And if little things like Easter is gonna stop you from playing a TOURNAMENT then theres no hope for you even in the lowest level of this league. save the money time and your body for something more mainstream like wing suit base jumping.
