I'm confused on why you would spend the money to update it, for it to just sit there. What was wrong with the way it looked stock? I mean it's your money to spend and it honestly doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, but I would at very least use it for rec ball or practice. Just out of curiosity what do you not like about the way egos or poppets shoot?

I always thoughts the lines and the grip frame and everything on a SL94 was good looking so I wanted one just to have it as a decoration for my room then as I looked at it I had the thought why let it get farther and farther out of date. So I started this little mission just because I wanted to have something truly unique, something no one else would have unless they liked these guns as much as I do.

As for the spools vs poppets go, I don't like the egos because they are so loud they give off a distinct " Crack " I can spot from anywhere, I don't like " aiming " I guess you could say. I like being able to look down the body of my geo3 and be able to tell where that ball will go. And I just don't like the barrel rase. I've always bean a spool guy and I just can't get use to it.

Well I understand wanting to update, I added a Cure3+, Violent SL3 reg, Violent .681 back, Ashes Boost kit, 16" tip, Violent Thumbwheel and Violent Scythe trigger to my 06 Dark. I also want to get my bolt POOTY MOD'D soon. I will agree Egos are quite loud especially my 06 Dark, but the Shaft4 did help a little. I can look down the side of my barrel and aim no problem but to each their own. Honestly my 06 Dark doesn't have hardly any barrel rise when it's shouldered. If you search 06 Dark shooting videos in the bar, or look up Smokefools66 on photobucket you can find the videos I made. I like both poppets and spools, but I kind of favor poppets. I have only had an Ion as far as spools go, so I guess I haven't had a chance to shoot a highend Spool. I didn't really care for the trajectory of the shot, I think it was just the design of the Ion. I would like to pick a Geo+ soon though.
