but what is there warranty on their stuff? i know a lot of paintball and most stuff now is only 30 days now

Yea, but even then, this is kinda serious and involves the safety of my eyes

And, no matter how old, a lens shouldn't crack like that

it shouldn't, but there are a lot of factors to consider


1. warranty is established for a certain amount of time due to the manufacture establishing if something happens in that amount of time, then it should be covered as it should be rated to last at least that long. if it goes past that length, they dont want to warranty it because the materials aren't rated to last that long


2. if paint was left on the lenses for an extended amount of time before being cleaned off, the paint affects the integrity of the lens material

3. just overall care of the lens

4. inspection of the lens before playing to see if there was a small crack that had already developed


im not saying they are in the wrong or not for the lens being like that, but if it is out of there warranty there is nothing they should have to do as the warranty length is there for a reason. but them not giving an apology or anything is pretty ****ty

Seriously, I have trouble believing that a paintball did it, but if it did, that's some crap, there's no way a lens should do that unless it was already cracked

yea, ive always taken really good care of my lenses though and ive been through like 10 in the past couple years.

I've never seen one crack like that. We took a old rental mask when I was working at the field and shot it like 500 times and it never cracked or broke.

Morning, I want a sandana with realtree mesh, but I've spent all of my money buying my dad and brother paintball christmas gifts lol, I'm super jelly

Have you tried the 2013 I4's? My dad's feel like they've made them bigger. I want a pair so bad for the hot months here, they are the best mask IMO, but I love my grills too much to buy a pair of them when I could just spend 30 bucks and get new lenses for my grills

lastly, anyone else notice how quickly their Vforce thermal lenses scratch? I put brand new yellow lenses on and they look like they've been through hell only a month or so later

I have noticed my grillz lens was extremely scratched up after just a month. My i4's which I used for 3 years look the same as when I got them almost

i take pretty good care of my masks, but it was mine before that i used for a few months (i got it used also) and then i gave it to him and he has had them since the I4's first came out cause i got I4's when they came out and gave the grillz to him. they are scratched a good amount, but you figure that is about 4 years of use between him and myself at least on them
