Ultra Light boomsticks are all aluminum. The Carbon fiber ones are a stainless steel bore with a carbon fiber wrap around it.

The stainless steel bore will be slipperier and should allow greater FPS gain from an underbore. Also I think the CF Boomstick has a longer control bore, but I could be wrong.

The Freak back has two front options: The OG Freak front (flared tip) or the All American front (straight tube with spiral porting). They're both part of the Freak barrel system.

They're both really quiet and light, doesn't matter.

Ah, thanks for confirming that. It does make a difference, a longer control bore will improve efficiency and consistency better than a shorter one.

a true freak barrel takes bore sizer inserts an all american does not. the confusing part is the tips an all american and freak tips they are interchangeable between both so you can have the following combinations

freak back - freak tip
freak back - all American tip
all American back - freak tip
all American back - all American tip

so remember
freak backs take inserts
all americans dont

both tips are the same except for the cosmetics.
