2v2 (3 man roster) Tournament at Paintball Wars, Sept 30th

This will be the first of many events to come, as we are in the process of still building our field to its full potential. We are currently in the process of attempting to purchase an airball field, and we hope this event will bring us closer to that date. The event will be played on a hyperball field, which is made to mimic a speedball field. We practice on it every Sunday, and it hasn't slowed us down a bit, since we regularly compete on airball fields in both Semi and Pump events, and tend to do well

Please come out and support our field, and we will make sure you have a good time at a well organized event. We are currently working with the field owner to provide the 1st place team with a month free entry to the field, 2nd place a free entry to our next event (most likely held on an actual airball field), and 3rd place with a box of paint.

In addition, any team which registers and pays for their entry, is welcome to come and play and practice the layout at $10 per player/per day, on any weekend before the event. We are there every Sunday and would love to run scrims and show you guys the angles of the field, unless we are at events, (so far we will be in San Diego for the weekend of the 25th/26th aug, and Sunday Sept, 23rd at SC village)

Thx and hope to see you at the event, we will do everything we can to make sure you guys have a good time, from reffing, providing water for all participants, to giving out pointers to newer teams.

Update: We went over the details of the event and came up with what we think will be the best format. We will increase the total number of teams to 16, due to higher interest. Also, the preliminary games will be player Round Robin, with center flag (total 100 points possible). 30 points for flag pull, 10 points per player shot out, 5 points for each body still left in game, and 40 points for flag hang. After the prelims, we will take the top 8 teams and they will run a race to format (race to 2, or best of 3 games). This will give you guys a taste of both type of tournaments, and will allow us to get everyone lots of games in. The games will have a 2 min clock, (we played 2v2's all day today, and games averaged to about 1:10 per game), so it will be plenty time to get the points won.

Thank you to all the teams that have signed up, and to those that came out and practiced the field, we all had a blast and are looking forward to providing a fun event. Now lets fill up the rest of the teams. We are up to 12-14 teams as of now.

From what I saw, the asg event is on the 23rd or 24th, so we made ours the following weekend so they wouldn't interfere. Hope to see you there

It'll most likely be ACU paint, which is similar but better than bonus balls. We use them from practice and they work great. Fly straight and rarely bounce, with nice orange fill
